Well I'm definitely bringing Portishead's Dummy CD with me to Australia for this very reason [;)]  Also Fiona Apple and certain Christina Aguilera songs.

Master Shibari I'm not that familiar with metal but I once had a very intense time dancing to Garbage with a friend of mine...that might give off the vibe you're looking for.  Otherwise I recommend some of the NIN remix albums.

PS there's also this evanescence song "The only one" that has THE most intense beat...if you end up putting together a mix, throw that one on there.

I'm thinking less along the lines of "Sisters of Mercy" and more along of "The Cruxshadows" stylistically.  I want something a little harder then pop metal.  Dragula by Rob Zombie is a really good one, but overdone.

I wasn't allowed to dance growing up and was at a total loss as to what to do.  Imagine my shock when my dad took me out one night and insisted I dance with the men who were asking me.  He kind of forced me into it and I have been in love with movement ever since!  I found it amazing to have control over a whole room of people, just by my movement to music.  Throughout the years I was asked to dance professionally as I blended many forms of dance naturally.  I think it was my love for music that did the trick for me and my athletic abilities.

I use dance in many ways to scene and in life in general.  Although injury prevents me from being able to dance as I once did.  I write it into most of my storylines at some point as I have found that it is a powerful emotional and physical tool as well as an enhancement to anything.

I would encourage everyone to experience dance or even just learn a couple of moves you feel comfortable with.  You don't have to compare yourself with professionals.  Just make what you do true to who you are.  Find music you love and then practice in front of a mirror.  It is scary to do it for someone at first, but the rewards are amazing as you can see from some of the post here!

Happy dancing!

Master Shibari,

"Inertia Creeps" by Massive Attack might work for your purposes. I've never heard it without wanting to grind my hips.

I rock Massive Attack/ Portishead all the Manchester sound in my chill out mixes.  But lately I've really been feeling "The Danger Of Love" and really can see myself seducing to this song as well as really enjoying a sub slowly grinding to me while playing it.

Damn it's hot now!

Slow but with an edge ... Ozzy Osborne and Lita Ford - Close My eyes Forever
Rocking ... Lita Ford - Hungry
Intense ... Cradle Of Filth - Nymphetamine Fix
Wild and Frantic ... Cradle Of Filth - Scorched Earth Erotica

Cueing up "Violent Love" by Indigo Swing and going into a rather engergetic swing dance can catch a submissive quite by a surprise.

Thank you all so much.

I've been queing these all up on youtube and am getting some awsome ideas.  This has been a huge help.
