Today I was told;
You're not attractive.

I was put back in a place I have fought [for years] to escape.
Not attractive.
Those words rang in my ears for what felt like a lifetime.
My laugh covered the pain.
Every swallow felt like a razor going down.
I couldn't just walk away.
Never would I let him know he had just crushed my world.
I sat and joked. Each laugh forced out.
Every word laced with tears.
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
These eyes could not stand to look upon me

I know how you feel. It's funny how we tend to make it seem all ok when someone says something as hurtful as that. We gloss things over like what they said was a joke. I don't think I could take it with such grace and dignity anymore. However, I saw some of your artwork, and you are, indeed, beautiful.

OK I normally don't response to these listing. But in this case some one telling you that your not VERY attractive is a liar. He or she may be trying to get into your head for one of reason or another, but take my word for it your very attractive.
