Anyone know where I can get an underbust corset that isn't too expensive? I'm willing to spend up to 60 if I have to, but I'd like to spend less if possible (I'm just a poor college student lol). All advice is greatly appreciated!

For under $60 you may be able to find something at Hot Topic that is quite nice looking on you.

Hope someone else has more help for you!

for 60$ check ebay alter ego is not my fav but will work and a tad more money but your getting a corset not a fashion corset that does not cinch .plastic bonning is a fashion type ,steel flat or spiral is what you desire for reduction .Not knowing where you live check out the used clothing places and put in a request post halloween its now a great time as some turn in those items for cash .

I just ordered an underbust corset from Axfords in the UK for my slave, price with shipping was $200.00, more than you want to spend, but the quality is there and will last. For around $60.00, I have no idea and am afraid you'll probably wind up with a off the rack play corset. So I guess it comes down to if you just want the look or are into serious corsetry.

60 dollars won't get you much at all, like someone else said, maybe at hot topic but it will be terrible quality and will most likely fall apart, I know that some goth stores (and vanilla sex shops) carry Leg Avenue brand, which is a better place to start then hot topic and is close to your price range.

Hiyas passion, what kind of material are you looking for in an underbust, cotton/silk/satin, pvc, leather? , how much "shaping" are you wanting, how long do you want it, ...would a cincher be ok or do you want fuller coverage(ie, diretly under bust to hips) do you want detachechable/attached garters? At the moment Im in the process of updating my site and Ive seen a couple of underbusts that might work. I will email you the other side if thats ok with some ideas.
Az says hes not keen on Alter Ego Erotics(on ebay) stuff, but I have found them to be really good quality, and as he said they are a "corset" with boning, not a fashion one, which really doesnt "train" the waist.
I leave "weal" corsets to the professionals, there are so many gorgeous ones out there, but they are NOT cheap and with all the work that goes into them I totally understand why.
Anyway, good luck finding something .. I will email later today

ebay auctions may be your best bet, just be patient, watch several items at a time, decide your maximum bid and wait till the last minute to bid. Most of my collection is from ebay.

They can be found. The link I sent her in CMail lead to a waist cincher for $15, mine arrived the day I posted that to her. So yeah it can be done. It is much nicer than expected and at that price even if it only lasts a dozen wearings it was worth it. It doesn't look cheap, it doesn't look all Fredricks of Hollywood either. However I lost the link. Heh. Maybe the OP can pop it here if anyone else is interested.It is black with dark red embroidery.

maybe the OP should also further define CORSET as to her needs ? hot topic ,tripp ,lip service ,and alike though nice and fun , have gromet holes and laces are not corsets by standard definition .

I don't know why others have knocked Alter-Ego. As a large woman I've had problems finding quality corsets at less than custom prices. We got three in various sizes and styles for myself, my partner, and her husband. And as frequent corset wearers we're very happy with our purchases. They fit well, have stainless steel boning, are made of leather that is also lined in canvas, can be tight-laced effectively and stay, and are ridiculously inexpensive for the quality. Hmm, Hanukkah is coming, I should go order myself one now...

B-B-B ,i am glad you have had a good experiance with alter -ego . i know many including myself that did not .I hope you never have to return anything , get your money back for defective product ,or get another size due to the wrong one being shipped.Alter ego has spiral steel bonning , mass produced , off the rack units .You get what you pay for and she deals in sheer volume .Yes its true you can buy 3-4 alter egos for one wasp creations garment but i choose the latter . but since we are talking 60$ that would be the best bang for your budget dollar to fork over another 20 or so and try an alter ego " to the OP " .Mine shall come from Dark Garden , DeMask ,Wasp creations ,maybe AMFKorsets ,delisious corsets ,or Romantasys & Stormy leather . smiles google and have fun shopping

I have had nothing but wonderful experience with Alter Ego. I have had to exchange a corset but it was easy and pain free. I am a college student as well and I know that dropping $300-$400 on a corset isn't even concievable. Especially to wear to a few events a year. Plus I am full-sized woman and finding a good fitting corset is a tough job as it is. Do the big money shopping when you get out of school. Thats what I plan to do.

I found another under the name of missysdoug they do have leather ones " with buy it nows"
under $30 US which " may be " okay for your usage and does fit in your price range, I just would not expect that good a quality if you decide to buy

Found another that sells lacing corsets ebay seller name is shapercorset appears to be okay as in steel boning and what appears to be the higher end front closures ,

If you were an expert advanced sewer you could try making your own from Patterns and supplies kits available from Farthingales dot com or ca but pattern and kit still is more tha $60 and you would still have to by your outer fabric and possible trimming.

I also make corsets and cinchers if anyone is interested. I can do custom, or according to your exact measurements.

I have 2 pre-made corsets I was thinking about posting on E-bay here shortly..

One is reversable so you get 2 corsets in one. It is a bit harder to make, but totaly worth it.
