great Aunt Sarah

Sorry, three words, i know but i couldn't resist. i did look it up LaM, and i'm not sure if it should be applied to an institution or if it can describe a person. Worth a shot though. lol

was a very accomplished zucchini-parer.

I had never seen "eleemosynary" as an attribute of a person, but apparently the word can mean "supported by or dependent on charity; as, 'the eleemosynary poor.'" So your eleemosynary great aunt Sarah is someone who lives off other people's charity.

May we review (since I'm lost)?

So far we have:

My eleemosynary great-aunt Sarah was a very accomplished zucchini-parer in a small red bar near the shores of Lake Michigan.

Is that right?

Not adding anything here, just observing: a poem about ME?! I'm going to enjoy this.

(And I think it disqualifies me from participating anyway.)
