When is it too much? How long it takes for the marks to go away?

As this picture shows very tempting. I'm worried to harm my slave:

This could not possibly be erotic, and it goes way beyond the realm of punishment! To be spanked/whipped/punished is one thing, to be marked like this is inconceivable!!!

i am sorry, this girl normally has no opinion, but i had to answer on this!!!

I have looked like that after a session of whipping. It depends on what the pain tolerance is. I am fair skinned so red shows up on me rather well, and I welt very easily.

I have been told I am extreme in what I can take for pain though...so I can't speak for the "norm". The biggest thing I would say is to talk over things intensly before the scene. I find that if I am playing roughly I like to have a soft rubber ball in my hand... if I cannot speak because I am so zen-ned into the moment I will drop the ball when the pain gets too much.

How well do you know your subbys body language? It is important to keep an eye on this when doing an extreme pain session. (I'm sure you know this already)

All in all.. the best thing is just to talk about things before hand and practice on something else first to make sure you have control of your whip.

Ooops just noticed you asked how long the marks tend to go away... for me.. They last about a week... but not that red the whole time :P

When it's "too much" is a very individual thing. If you're worried about harming your slave, don't take shots across her back yet. Go more for the ass cheeks and feel it out to see how much she can take, how much she likes, how much you like etc. Start off less extreme and take it from there. You can always kick it up a notch once you know her tolerance level a little bit better.

Relatively speaking, that photo doesn't look very severe, but marks like that could take up to a week or 10 days to go away completely, especially if the slave is fair-skinned.

You are right...It might be the most abusive thing I have ever seen!!! How is someone expected to deal with mental anguish and pain of welts that will be gone in a day or two?...I've seen worse hickeys.

Nothing really sensible to offer and I do think that the pic. shows what I would consider to be "too much."

However, if the model had a fuller bottom arse butt I might be persuaded to give it some welly lol.

If Y/you are going to engage in severe whipping i would recommend Y/you avoid striking any areas of bony prominence such as the spine, shoulders, or hip bones. The force could cause a fracture or other serious damage. Stick to areas with a lot of padding!

It certainly varies by person, but that doesn't look bad at all to me. You have to know she can handle what you are inflicting, and know how to safely administer the punishment, but that goes without saying.

I could sit on a nylon lounge chair too long and look like that. But the lash marks on the lower back/kidney area & wrapping around the hips? *winces*

The wrapping isn't cool, but if you're only using a light cane, you can flick it on almost any part of the body without harm, as it doesn't cause deep bruising, only surface welts. I also stay away from the very top of the buttock, as the sensation isn't as nice as the rest of the buttock, and the succineal (sp?) groove.

Not to hijack this thread, but does A/anyone know what instrument the Saudis plan to use to administer the 200 whips? Is the woman involved at risk of losing her life?

rofl, he's right, those marks are very light and indicate the actual strikes were pretty light (depending on how easily the person marks up). For a masochist the aftereffect marks are actually enjoyable.

I think the degree is a matter of individual preference, BUT....

It sure looks to me like the person who gave out this whipping was not that well schooled in the safety aspects. To the best of my knowledge, a whipping, caning or flogging should stay away from the area just above the hips to the middle back (this is over the kidneys) and start just below the shoulders (to avoid the neck and possibly hit the face). This is where some of the more sensitive areas are with respect to internal organs. I was taught to not apply instruments of destruction there at all as internal damage was possible. The upper area - just below the shoulders and a little below - and the butt are kind of strong, but again, it is a matter of individual preference.

I have seen worse but the marks will go away in time. the question is did she enjoy this and is her pain tollerance that high?
