I've always enjoyed the double entendré of Eleanor Roosevelt's quote: "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."

I clicked on your name to see your profile and ask you a question. It said 'no profile found'.
How do you get the accent above the 'e' on your keyboard?
I love french and do not know how to type the accent above a letter.

Thanks to everybody for your quotes!
I really enjoy seeing what you all pick for a favorite of the day.

I have a European keyboard and it has an Alt-Gr key so to get the accent I hold down Alt-Gr and press the appropriate letter. I don’t know if this key in on US layouts.

There is also this option in control panel under keyboard where you can add another language and quickly switch between them via something called a language bar. I’ve never had to use it so it may not apply to your situation 100% but it is worth investigating, maybe.

You can also type your note in Microsoft Word and insert the symbol “é” (or any other symbol), than copy and paste into CollarMe.  (like I did with this note).
Or, you can use the Alt key +0233 (hold down the Alt key, then type "0233" on your numeric keypad).

Hope this helps!

I have this as an art print in my home  ... it hangs in my office, where I can see it Often and be reminded of  that All Important  "Truth"
*************************************
"This is the beginning of a new day.
You have been given this day to use as you will.
You can waste it or use it for good.
What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it.
When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever; in its place is something that you have left behind...
let it be something good."

**********************************
I have no idea who might originally have said it ..
but I bought the print from one of my VERY Favorite on line sites  http://www.successories.com/

If you set your keyboard language to US international under regional settings in control panel and you have two alt keys you may be able to use the middle one as Alt-Gr. There is also the On Screen Keyboard that can be accessed by typing 'osk' in the run box.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AltGr_key

Also lookup dead keys; try holding down Ctrl then pressing ` (top left on my layout) followed by the letter you want to add it to i.e. Ctrl+` then e to get é.

Yeah Invictivus! The one that worked. Thanks yéé. lol

FullCircle: Thank you for taking the time to share your good ideas. I tried a couple and they didn't work on my keyboard. the alt 0233 idea finally worked.

And, the garlic bread quote you shared made me long for garlic bread at 9ish in the am. Must be that garlic fetish of mine? I like to cook with fresh garlic and rub it on my fingers so that I can smell it for hours.

Those quotes in the am give me a good spiritual kick-in-the butt to help me jump-start my day. Thanks everyone for sharing.

I can't believe there is a bi-sexual flag. it's strange to be so militant about being so ambivalent.

To me, the shitty thing about competing in a foot race against a horse isn't the shame of losing. But rather, having to stand below him on the podium afterwards with his enormous horse penis right by my face.

People always try to convince me to save the Apes by telling me we are so much like them that we share 99.9% of the same DNA. That’s true, but, we also share 60% of the same DNA as many fruits and vegetables. That worries me. Who is going to save us when those monkeys find out we are more than half banana. I don’t really like the idea of being peeled by an orangutan.

Once I saw two dogs humping that looked very different from each other. One was brown and white and kind of big with long hair and the other was a little tiny black dog. It made me wonder why people can’t be more accepting of each other. So what if I like to go to the park and watch dogs fuck.

Why are avocados so expensive? I don't think I should have to put a vegetable on lay-away to make dip.

I don't like the girl scouts. I can't trust an adolescent female paramilitary organization that sells highly addictive baked goods.
