simplewhispers -> heavy, obese, big boned ,fat (12/2/2007 4:41:59 PM)

I did a thread earlier about liking big men, I like more weight on him than most folks do , however everytime someone sees that, someone will mail me that looks like t hey have not had a bath in a mth , with rodents in their hair.

I do not understand why fat is still associated with dirty people, and it is . I dont care what size you are if you dont have self respect no one is gonna give it to you ....

If my words have offended anyone I apologize .

HUH???

I don't understand what you are saying...when people see your comments that you like big men they email you saying it looks like they haven't taken a bath in months and have rats in their hair?

Or are you saying that your friends pick on the men you choose because those men are overweight?

Please explain.

I think she's saying she likes men with more meat on them, yet it seems that a majority of those contacting her are larger people who just don't take care of themselves in all ways. She's saying being larger doesn't mean not grooming well, taking care of your hair, etc.

I hope that's what she means anyway. Otherwise I just made an ass out of myself [:D]

PsyVamp -> RE: heavy, obese, big boned ,fat (12/2/2007 4:54:00 PM)

Darkhaven80, I read it to mean the same thing you thought.

But believe me OP, there are plenty of those that aren't "big" that still look like they don't shower more than once a week...

*shudders*

thank you for the clarification [:D]

Missokyst -> RE: heavy, obese, big boned ,fat (12/2/2007 5:00:47 PM)

Trust me, it isn't just a big man phenomenom.  There are more than enough unkempt people to go around in both sexes, in all orientations, and all sizes.  It may be that those men who have contacted you believe that your tastes run outside the norm so they have a better chance of  being considered.

thank you for your response,I did not mean to narrow it down to just men, filth is not gender biased.

There is also the possibility that they havent actualy paid much attention to what you said you were looking for, and just noticed you said you werent finding it and thought theyd throw their hat into the circle.
Just a thought.

I really don't think being overweight is tied to being dirty any more than being a skinny is tied to having an eating disorder.

I've got extra padding, I happen to think I'm a pretty good catch and my hair smells like pumpkin spice thank you very much. I love my fancy bath stuff! [:)]

Darkhaven80 -> RE: heavy, obese, big boned ,fat (12/2/2007 5:16:41 PM)

Glad to see I'm not the only one who loves pumpkin scented bath and body products lol

AquaticSub -> RE: heavy, obese, big boned ,fat (12/2/2007 5:20:08 PM)

Bath and Body Works has some really nice pumpkin-y stuff right now. I got turned onto the scent by Val's mother. She gave me a little bottle of some pumpkin spice body wash. The first time I used it I ran up to Valyraen crying "Smell me! I smell DELICIOUS!"

Yeah and for years skinny people have been looked at as underfed, having eating disorders and before that: too poor to afford food and probably having internal parasites.

There's hatred either way. *shrug*

Congratulations on starting yet another (yawn) fat thread.

I hope you like attention, because this type of fat thread usually goes about 20 pages or so.

Good luck with that.

I know DR, it's been, what, about a week or two? There have actually been some awesome threads lately and then, like a bad penny, the bloated fat threads pop up....you would think people would be on to newer more fab topics like the one going on over in the "is collarme a site for satanists?" thread. [:D]

My apologies for starting a thread that you have discussed before, however I was not here when that or those threads were discussed
