Okay, this will be two parts...

(1) High Road in general .  Yeah, I admit that I take the high road on collar me becuase talk is cheap and it's easier to talk than do.  lol   So I take the high road on here and say right stuff...hopefully i do it.  But yeah, I do try to walk my talk and talk my walk   that's how i choose to live my life.  I just say what I think and do, hopefully its good stuff and I guess keep that stuff in my head....first the mind, then the body right?    lol

(2) High Road in response to a post....well, i guess it depends on your mood and how much extra effort it will take to respond and deal with all the flames back etc etc, do you want to sink to their standards... you know sometimes it is fun and sometimes it's just a pain.    that so maybe you got really angry but then decide not to get sucked in... well then you didn't let them get the best of you at that time. That's just well...if you want to think you're better go ahead. But, I don't think that'll make you better than the other person necessarily based on a post and if/how you respond.  Sounds to me s/he got to you (affected you emotionally) and you are using the high road topic to hopefully make that person feel small.  Shoulda let it roll off your shoulders..     (race,sex, age that's a whole nother topic and there's more popular groups to belong in than others...which may or may not be necessarily unfair and should, i mean just look at all the crap/non-crap Hillary Clinton is facing as a woman runing for office..maybe the woman thing counts who knows, as far as qualifications I think that she's as qualified as others.  but if you focus on what you can do rather than what you can't then you'll beable to come out on top in the long run against your own personal goals and personal demons.)

But like I said in (1) talk is cheap, so as far as making individual judgement calls on the person as a whole...based on he/she did this/that on a post on a kinky website... wellllll....that's just ridiculous.  basically  jmho

after actually reading all 8 pages of this i have come to the following conclusion....

announcing you take the high road is the same as announcing the following...

i am a lady

i am a gentleman

i am a christian

i am a good person

.......if you have to announce it, well, it probably aint so....

It's something I try to do as a general rule of thumb. When I fail, I tend to use the block button to compensate for my short comings. I have a lot of short comings. ;)

I approach it much the same way I do charity works. It's best when anonymous and done in silence. In other words, if you're taking the high road, you're the one who knows it and that's enough.

~~FR~~~ I see one of the multi diversified BUNCH of one posters nicks perved me at 3:42, but as of yet I have no answer on here, on what justication there possibly is when a user espousing the qualities of taking the high road, and condescendingly accusing others of not taking the road as much as them, has not chosen to ask my question about using other nicks of theirs to give creedence to another of their nicks by answering said nick as another person (not quite honest at first glance). I am waiting to see if they deign to explain that.  I am pleasantly suprised only one of multiple nicks was used for this, might make it easier to explain.

What can I say, enquiring minds would LOVE to know!!!!![;)]

Do you know for sure that this is the case?

I have seen others do this on this site in the past... or at least strongly suspected it, but I never brought it up because I have no proof of it, so I tend to keep suspicions about that sort of behavior to myself, smile and have a good chuckle about such shenanigans and walk away.

I was just wondering how you know for an absolute fact that both screen names belong to the same person... that is all.

I know those and others for a fact. Therefore, I am assuming there is an understandable reason because of the subject of the thread and am curious what that reason is, nothing more.

Uhhh, lets not go there, you admitted that somehow was a "new roommate" that used your same computer, but yet in other posts you lived alone, and miraculously started that account very very soon before the post, AND WAS STICKING UP FOR YOU WHEN YOU WERE BEING DOUBTED BUT SAID FRIEND, NOT ROOMMATES YADA YADA....let's not throw salt, not all of us
remember things with such rose colored glasses.

Yep you asked first and yes fine let her answer if she chooses to.
I however being on the recieving end of this before know its not nice to be accused of things you havent done nd felt it only fair that other people who read this should be aware you have been wrong before on this score before they start jumping to conclusions.
As of tomorrow i have a pub to run yep and will be absent for a couple of weeks definately. Thank you for your best wishes with it. Not dragging up old history as you seem to be wanting to do....I WAS correct it was your computer, hm, and I will not waste my time giving creedence to your claims when in all your posts at the time you DID live alone.......and, I would think the fact that by virtue alone of your post claiming the person wasnt you, you have already admitted by such it was your computer etc......so.....I would say that gives creedence to my claims. I will also say in this case there IS no doubt, but, unless you are calling me a liar and would like to take it private we shall leave it there. I am not trying to start a fight or flame fest as you seem to be doing....I asked someone else a very honest question, and would like the answer from them......I do not want the thread pulled, as I would like to see the answer to my question from them.  It is not a flame, it is a question.  If you take issue with me or my words after I have answered your question, as I am asking them to, be a big girl and do it privately.....after all, this is a thread about taking the high road.  Email me if you wish, I will not respond to you on this thread about this thread anymore.

No i didnt say it was the same computer, i said it would be the same internet connection as everyone in the house shares the broadband.
I never claimed to live alone and several threads i started at the time could prove this considering they were about my untidy house mates doing my head in.
I dont want a flame war either but i wont sit back and watch you throw accusations at someone else like you did me.
Edited to add - i have absolutely nothing to hide so why would i take it private? My only comment was that the accusation was once made falsely against me which is the truth. You then felt the need to bring it all out.
