The moment i stepped into your home
i wished to call it my own
the first time i sat at your feet
I felt at peace
the first time you let me look you in the eyes
i floated through the clouds
the first time i slept on the floor close to you
i slipped into sweet ablivion
the first time i was punished by your strict hand
i felt forgiven
the first time i sat behind you while riding the streets
i felt free
the first time you brought me back to where i live
i felt torn
and now i wait anxiously for our next meeting
i wait to come home

well ladybug, i actually found your poem to bring back memories of my own, for me i read a poem and try to place it somewhere in my life, and i was able to do that with this poem, as for deary's post, i found that sad, we should be complimenting each other, not criticizing each other for our writings.

Once again thank you for a great work of art.
