Yep. I've met a few from here. One got me into local groups and I attend parties and events locally regularly and have wonderful friends both met here and met at functions and discovering they were on here too.

I met my SO here as well, we have been married for 3 yrs. Though we both have new accounts since we got married.

I met my husband here on collarme.  We have been married now for a year and a half.  Also, back when I was domming I met about 7 or 8 submissives from this site as well.  Now I have a close knit group of friends in the city where I live, and they too are all from CM.

As the resident stats person, I would perhaps pose this question:
Of the people who visit the site who WANT to meet someone, what % actually find someone they feel compatible with for their specific needs?

Now THAT might be a lower number than you want to hear.  But hey, it can't hurt to try.  You never know when you'll be one of the lucky ones.

I have met about 15 or 16 people from CM in the real world.  Some of them I knew because they were Daddy's friends from years ago.  However, I was happily surprised at a dungeon event I went to last summer who came up to me and asked if I was "Daddysredhead" from CollarMe because they recognized me from my picture.  It was a neat way to make new friends and since then, we keep in touch and have gone to a few parties and such since.

I have been on internet chat sites ehh for 15 years or so hell maybe longer since 1200 baud however long ago that was.  I have meet quite a few ppl.  I have not had a relationship with any of them nor have I met anyone from CM.  I ve not been on here very long tho.    Typically I read the fourms...

I doubt it. I can't remember meeting a submissive female  soley from alt or collarme. Most of my male friends have the same experience. You have a better chance at meeting a no-strings attached submissive female on a vanilla dating site than you have on any of the bdsm sites.  The people on those sites are really looking to meet. Just mention in your profile that you are seeking a traditional relationship with a little kink, be sure to include a picture. You'll be hooking up in no time flat.

Well, SireKane I was really truly looking to meet a Dominant male and it took a while to find someone that I thought would have enough in common with me to be a good match.  But, I was glad when I met Sir and we began seeing each other. It took me a long while to actually even give out my number to Him and even when I did I asked Him not to call me for a while. He agreed because He said we would go at my comfort level...It took two months before I even heard His voice on the phone. He waited so patiently but well...I was worth it..[;)]...*giggles. I met a really fantastic person here on Collarme last year, and we dated for awhile until she had to leave the area due to work. I also met some very cool people over on Bondage dot com. Even on Alt dot com I found some interesting people that I had a great time with. These sites are in large part what you make them; if you invest in writing a good profile and then in really communicating with others, you are likely to meet someone special. At least that's my opinion and experience. I met my girlfriend/slave/lover/friend/mate on Collarme earlier this year.

I've met folks in realtime, and know others who happen to have accounts here that I knew already.  I enjoy the boards, but I am not big on online relationships when people are close by.

Yes, I have met, in real life, some of the people who post on the boards; played with a couple of them casually, and have remained friends with all of them.
