I remarked over dinner tonight, that most of the ladies I know have a male voice set on their Sat Nav, whereas most men I know have a lady's voice.

My partner remarked, 'That's not always true, **** is a woman, and has a girl's voice! on her Sat Nav."

We all knew **** is lesbian.

My reply, "Point proven!"

Is it universal, if you have one of these devices?

I think it depends.  Mine has a female voice but a good friend of mine who is straight also has a female voice on her's as well. So I guesss it depends.

It is Satellite Navigation for those who are not gadget geeks..

I have a female voice on mine, im a gal and mostly straight.

giggles ... there are websites where you can download celebrity or joke voices for your sat nav ... I got one of my good mates a very hot sounding woman who orders you to "ride me for 300 yards, then turn left" and stuff .... the closer you get to your destination ,,,, the closer she sounds to orgasm, and you should hear what happens when you arrive at your destination!

I use the female voice and R uses the female voice. I just like it better than the male voice. I can't make a connection to our relationship style choice and that though.

I turn all the voices off. STFU stupid annoying thing! I can read the directions on the screen perfectly well!

I don't have one.  But my aunt & uncle named theirs Shirley, which I thought was hilarious.

Master's has a female voice too, but I don't think he named her, lol.

Master doesnt use a SatNav we use a computer program and print stuff out and I read it as he drives..I have a female voice btw.[:D]

I chose the American female's voice on mine.  I like it. The only thing that bothers me is that she sounds irritated when she says "Recalculating".  There's no reason for her to get frustrated with me just cuz I missed a turn for christ sake.

It's not surprising that my voice-activated Sat Nav is much more fun with a male voice responding to my instructions. [:D]
