Due to a bit of unneccesary drama this a.m., I came home without any prezzies to open, blah blah, blah...
no biggie really.... there will be another day/time for gift exchanges...
the only thing that really annoyed me was not spending time with the rest of the family.

Somehow a bologna and potato chip sammich just wasn't what I was envisioning for Christmas dinner, LOL!

my son presented me with a gift card and said go buy your self something.....yall make us do an entire list to "santa" then ecpect us to be mind readers-lol

hes 19-and i pity his wife some day

but i love him and we had a great quiet day at home....he is now piggin out on the ham and squash casserole and mashed taters and green beans and pineapple casserole and swt tater casserole and rolls.....and this year i finally figured out how to make smaller casseroles so i have enough for maybe one day of leftovers.

and i learned dropping anopen gallon of milk with the lid off is no fun-gonna have to pull the stove out tomorrow and mop under it.....but for now im havin a cig and a drink before i dine on the stuff i been cookin all day.

...we simply bask in the knowledge that we are together, healthy, and happy.  It's all that is needed

We did that AND exchanged some goodies.  I mentioned earlier that I'd asked for some perfume.  I got several bottles of different scents but not the board games I'd asked for.  We just couldn't find anything good that didn't take three or four people so we skipped those.  I got a couple DVD's, some new slippers, some wonderfully soft lounging pants, a sexy bra/panty set, a new purse, some yummy chocolates and several other small things including a stocking full of goodies.  Plus, the other night, Master had me go by the liquor store and pick out a couple bottles of whatever I wanted.  I chose a bottle of Frangelico and a bottle of Disaronno ameretto (neither of which I'd ever tasted).  We got to spend lots of quality time together playing, eating, drinking, and watching Christmas movies.  Overall, a couple of the best days we've ever had.  So much to be thankful for...................luci
