Like twistedwillow when i first started looking things up a lot of the people used the slashes and i thought it was protocal and kept doing it...but it's tiresome and the more i talk to people the more i realize it's ridiculous.
However i rarely capitalize "i" unless it is for a school assignment. (i never understood why "i" was so much more important than "her", "he", etc.) i do capitalize Masters pronouns though it's not required i have just fallen into the habit of it.

I totally agree with you on this point. I have more then once deleted a message from somebody because it was littered with all that crap. I remember the first message that I got with all that mess in it I had to have my girlfriend translate it for me.

I think the whole thing is silly if you want to know someones role of choice then check their profile or simply ask them. But I guess if switches HAVE to have a way to signifiy their role It CoUlD Go SoMeThInG LiKe ThIs. GeE IsN'T ThIs AnNoYiNg? KiNd Of LiKe 3Rd PeRsOn SpEeCh.

What about using "modbus" or "bumdos" or "dumbos" (I particularly like the last one).

I dont know anything about slashes except the one I am giving or receiving....I do how ever sometimes us the upper and lower case letters depending on what I am in the mood for....if Im feeling DOMINANT..or submissive..most of the time I speak in text, abbreviations, lots of (...) for pauses...:) oh and spell check lots and lots of spell checks,,,LMAO my switchy cents...P/pamela
