Prison time for financier in plot against former mistress

8:09 AM EST, January 8, 2008

STAMFORD, Conn. - A wealthy former hedge fund manager has been sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison for plotting to have his former mistress abducted and raped.

Forty-three-year-old Albert Hsu of New Canaan pleaded guilty in October under a plea agreement.

Prosecutors say Hsu became upset when his mistress broke off their affair in 2005 and he stalked her for more than a year.

Police arrested him last March after he posed as the woman and posted an ad on a bondage Web site inviting readers to kidnap and rape her as part of a sexual fantasy.

The victim learned of the scheme when a New Jersey man interested in responding, called her to make sure she wanted to go through with it.

Not that which site makes a difference...but what makes you think the site he used was Collarme? If Collarme were MY business, I wouldn't like to hear such statements...if they are not true.

Every now and then I see those ads that state they are seeking rape/kidnap senarios from strangers. I often wonder what kind of idiot would answer an ad like that from a stranger. And the crime junkie in me has always considered it might be some ploy from a disgruntled ex trying to get even.
Rape play is not something that should be done by strangers. Not unless they are willing to accept the consequences.

This sounds to me like a good case for having a "Start Word", in addition to a stop word. The rape/forced sex play doesn't begin unless and until the 'victim' gives the start word.

Now this is scary stuff. Heard of this kind of thing happening, it's only what you see in shows like CSI and such, which I don't really watch.

The Bi-polar thing is a cop-out. I have anxiety which was improperly diagnosed as bi-polar and those drugs WILL fuck you up badly if it's not for you. It did for me. I couldn't function...slept most of the day and dunno how I worked constant 12 hour postal shifts while on it for 3 months heh. My nephew is on bi-polar meds and they have made him a new happy child. His mood swings were nothing short of scary after I got back from a move involving a failed relationship.

Now I've had rejection. I've had thoughts of revenge, yes. I admit it. But the sign of a stable adult is to dismiss such things, while even not on meds, I did. People are mean and that's all. Though some of us like mean...

Even through my rejections all through my short life so far, I take it badly at first but go forward regardless. This man obviously has serious issues. And we can only hope he gets the help he needs in prison, though with our system...I rather doubt it. God help us all.

It's rather sad he used this family forum [ though that sounds pretty kinky now ] to do his vile act...or try to at the very least. I pity him.

I remember this, it was CM. Mod11 probably started cleaning her gun. I would.

And that is fucked up. RIGHT NOW there are two threads about rape scenes, How to tie a Man and How to tie a Woman. Of course we know this would be consentual, but the fact that anyone does have fantasies like that is a dangerous thing. We must be careful.

What's more how did Hsu find out about this place ? And that is not a nice thought, but there are other holes in the story. Some guy supposedly was going to do it and called her to confirm, that is good, but just how did he get her phone number ? Why would Hsu give out her real phone number in such a case ? If I were to endevor to execute such a plot, the phone number would be to my new olady, who would have all the personal information written down. Not that I would ever do that, but if you play, play to win. What did this guy think ? That she was going to answer the phone and say "Oh yeah, how did you know ?" ?.What did he think she was going to say ?

There are some pieces to this puzzle that do not fit. There is a possibility that the whole thing was a plot by neo-cons/repubicans to smear CM. Look at what they did enacting USC2257. The plan may have been to make CM an accomplice in a felony, which in the beginning I was led to believe really did happen. But now all of the sudden it did not. It is not a different story, I remember the name.

So, what is going on here ? Some of these details just don't work for me. It does not fit.
