Maybe she never got a chance to use her safe-word. Maybe her Master didn't allow her to have one. However it would have had to have been non verbal because her mouth was sealed with electrical (Irony Alert!) tape.

I can't believe he's ever done that before, since the nipples generally provide a path directly through or near the heart, and a powerstrip would so oversupply the current as to pretty much nail closed the coffin.

How shocking and sad.  (Oh god, that actually wasn't meant as a pun.)  It's a brutal reminder that you shouldn't play with things you can't control.  Electrical play is fine and dandy, but there is a reason there are specific implements for it.  It's a volatile and powerful force.  Experience and education are needed even with those implements designed for electical play.  The situation is tragic, but it could have been prevented with a little self-education.

OK, and people wonder why we get looked at strangely?  Its stupid ideas like that that make it so hard for the rest of us that believe in **SAFE**, sane and consenual look bad.

The idea itself wasn't stupid--but the implementation was.  With proper TENS unit, electrical play can be done with fairly low risk of death.

Doing your dungeon in the spirit of Tim the Tool Man Allen is just not a good idea.

True, a TENS unit is the way to go - if he grounded her other nipple, the current would go right across her heart, and there's enough amps in household current to stop your heart if the path to ground goes across it.

Oh, i know there are plenty of ways around it. However, a lot of medical supply sites refuse to sell them without a prescription, and ebay is rather vigorous about killing auctions for TENS boxes. You certainly can't pick one up at the local pharmacy, or get them near anywhere cost (based on the electronics involved, i guess the basic two-channel model is down to $18 or so, fresh off the boat from Ghangzhou)

Friggin' AMA. i used to wonder how they could sleep at night. Then i realized: on a huge pile of hundred-dollar bills. Just have the help fan the rotting-corpse smell away.

I wonder how much of his experience was in his mind and in books and which books he was reading.

I think he's going to go to jail or get at least probation. He's a solid example of why people should learn to do things properly.

If one is sufficiently knowlegdeable about electronics, building an effective but relatively non-lethal device would not be hard--nor that expensive.

The key word there, of course, is "if". Personally, I would rather spend the extra $$ and buy pre-made.

I have a TENS unit, and they are pretty safe, provided you are not a moron.  But this guy seemed to be, so I dont think that would have matter, he would have still found a way to fuck it up.
