After a back injury I started doing yoga and I couldn't kneel and sit on my feet because my hamstrings were so tight. It's still not easy to do (now mainly it's a knee problem), but I've worked my way up to it just by doing a short (15 minute) yoga practice a few times a week. It's amazing what yoga can do even if you can't stretch far to start -just trying the moves, as little as you can do, will help change your flexibility over time. I feel so good and limber after doing a yoga practice. (You'd think I'd be more consistent considering how good it makes me feel. lol)
