I was looking through the "whos viewd me" on my front page, and I saw that an Irish male sub had peeked at me.  Now, I am not looking for a male, but the thought passed through my mind that I wouldn't mind talking to someone of that persuasion just for the accent.  So, I got to thinking...does anyone else have a fetish for accents?  Which ones really do it for you?  I'm a sucker for Irish, Scottish, Australian and English...in that exact order.

i had a guy who used to call me up to talk dirty to me in welsh.  now THAT was interesting.  *purrs*  he loved that i have a slight southern accent.

i wouldnt call it a fetish in my case, but it is definitely something that makes me shiver in the good way.

While I don't have an accent fetish, I have been told that my Canadian accent is erotic on one or two occasions.

I still don't hear my accent.

*sad*

i've always been a sucker for a deep voice with a scottish or irish accent.  english is third on the list.  i think none of us really pay attention to our own accent until we're around people from another region who sound different from us.

Perhaps fetish is the wrong word...seems like the best one to me, though.  There is no other word for what an Irish accent does to me...preferably real, but a very well done fake accent can have the same effect.  Shivers from head to toe, wettness, weak knees, giggly.  Oh yeah.

*smiles*  the "radio voice" i used to call it.  when he'd drop down an octave, and it would be like the low smooth tones of a late night DJ.

and yes, i agree about the accent....mine isnt that noticable till i've been around my family for a week or so.  *then* you can really tell i'm from texas.

I have to agree.  Irish accents really turn me on.  One of my favorite movies "Boondock Saints" works better than porn for me for that very reason!  Although I love accents, even just talking to me in another language does an excellent job of making me wet.

How close is an Irish accent to a Scottish one, I wonder? If Sean Connery were standing behind you, calling you "Moneypenny", and talking dirty, what would happen?

Oh god...Boondock saints...*drools*.  My accents come out when I am drunk or pissed...if I'm both, lookout.  Sometimes you can tell I'm from Ky, others my Irish side comes out.

I have often debated whether I should take on an English accent along with a walking stick...I have toyed with this idea in the past...I just think I would exude Domliness as I would firmly plant down my walking stick to accentuate a point or to put dramatic emphasis on a particular word or a syllable.

I believe the end of my walking stick might smell like poo....Due to the sodomy. There would be splinters...Poor thing.

~FR~ to nobody specifically...

I pick up accents WAY easy... I spent a week in Regina, Saskatchewan...  after 2 days, the people I spoke to thought I was a native...
