As I said before, I appreciate everyones' contributions to this thread. A lotta great stuff, some new to me, some nice to be reminded of. I'm gonna put a sock (or pair of panties ) in it now and give it a rest. There is still a lot of music here that I haven't had a chance to listen to, and I "don't wanna miss a thing" (Aerosmith, couldn 'resist). Besides, Level, I'm in no hurry to get the "Insane tatt that you have. Nice tat, though.

Carlos, never having had a music lesson and not being able to read music, nevertheless, has some hot licks, eh ?

Also reminds me of a time , living in Chicago in a "mixed" neighborhood, summer, hot as hell, 2-3am, nobody had ac and no one could sleep...one dude used to go up on the roof and wail "Samba Pa Ti" and some other tunes. People , out on their stoops , using what we called "Rican airconditioning ( herb), would do percussion on congas, bongo, pots and pans, whatever. It was better than sleeping.
