ZZ! Billy Gibbons is waaay under-rated. Had a bud in Houston, played bass, was about 5 years older than me, used to play in a band that did gigs with the Moving Sidewalks and American Blues Band at Love Street and the Cellar until he got popped for smack. 13th Floor Elevators played there too. IIRC, Billy Gibbons lives in Tanglewood not far from my ex bro-in-law's folks house and close to GHWB. Ex-Bro-in-law Blake said he went to the same private school as GWB and Jeb. Blake and his brother (was Asst DA Houston back around 98 or so; last time I was in Houston I stayed at the house in Tanglewood) have a ranch out in LaGrange, 99 acres. Mushrooms grow there. Blake used to import stuff from Mexico. Think he mentioned something about some HS parties but can;t remember for sure.

Status: offline 		Thanks, Level. I love the Eagles and haven't seen the vids you posted. Great shit.I was licky enough to get tickies to a Jackson Browne concert in Fort Myers Wednesday . Solo , acoustic performance that I saw /heard a few years ago in Fort Luderdale. Both small, intimate venues. Really looking forward to it.

I'm str8, but , after enough tequila (and some other shit) I might be tempted to do Timothy B. ;)

I also want to thank everyone who's posted on this thread. Great virtual party !

Status: offline 		I recently found this video on YouTube.  This song  has haunted me since I first heard it back in the late '60's.   I've never been able to get it out of my head.   It was done by the group "Everything Is Everything", and featured Jim Pepper.   The more I play this, the more I love it.  It lifts me up to hear it, and I can't help but to smile as I listen to it.    As I have researched  Jim Pepper, it saddens me to learn that such a great talent went unnoticed during his lifetime, and is now silent forever. 

I don't think that the video is all that great.  Instead of all those static pictures, I wish it had just the Stomp dance video (like at 1 minute 06 seconds) to accompany the music.  After all, it  ~is~  a Native American peyote chant.
