Thank you both, Aynne and Sage. I had not heard of, nor seen, the Rainbow Bridge until the link to the site was posted this morning. It's a beautifully done piece that inspires hope and good warm feelings.

My tiny friend is now out of her main cage and into a much smaller, "travel" cage. She just wasn't getting any peace from her main cage-mate, who kept preening, prodding, and poking her. Right now, the cage-mate is hating me for taking away its companion, but that will pass with time.

At least, for now, the frail and ailing 'keet is having a quiet day.

Status: offline 		I hate when I have to get a follow up spot shot after a mammogram and they call me back less than 2 hours afterward and tell me I need a surgical consult for a biopsy!!!
 
GODDAMN IT!!!! I went through this 4 years ago with the other breast! They said I needed a biopsy and took out about an ice cream scoop of tissue! And THEN they told me it was benign.
 
Just what I need, more scars on my breasts.....

Thanks Gwyn.  Its nothing life threateningly serious, just replacing her newly replaced knee (She got a new one back in 06 or 07 and already messed this one up!  lol).  Still, I freak out on these kinda things.  She has been developing allergies to meds, and they only seem to ctch it when shes on new pain meds, or going under the knife.  And yea, I know God gives us as much as we can handle, but is it too much to ask that he lighten the load on the panicky ones of us that freak out over small things?  lol

Scars are quite sexy.  They are signs that a person has actually lived, as opposed to gliding through life unawares.  Wear them proudly.  You will come out quite fine.

Status: offline 		Thanks, everyone. I'm just a bit freaked out. When this happened before I had no one to help me and I'm horrible with medical procedures, so I'm still traumatized. But Master just said, "So, we get a surgical consultant."(emphasis added by me).  And said to make the appointment- it doesn't matter for when, He'll take care of His schedule.
 
And my Mom just keeps telling me how lucky I am to have Him (like I need reminding..).
 
And the surgeon can't see me until the 25th. Just like everything else in healthcare these days- hurry up and wait. So now I'll just try not to think about it for 10 days.
