The staffing companies will only throw me at "Technical" positions, because that is what I first went for over 4 months ago. With all of those types of jobs I end up being fucked because there are a lot of people looking with a lot more qualifications than me. All I keep hearing is either that "We decided to go with a better qualified candidate" or "I am sorry, you seem to be over-qualified for this position" or the new one "It is our policy to only match candidates with the field that they are already part of" Nobody seems to understand that I dont care, I would stay with the right company for years, I just need to be able to support myself and my family. So I have given up. I have done all that I can, the rest the programs I have designed will do regardless. I just dont know what else to do, I have no idea how I am going to pay the rent next month, much less get any food or anything like that.

Don't give up, Asher. Go to your State's Assistance Office to get some help for next month.  There's help out there for you.

Status: offline 		Asher, you have a dependent, you will be able to get help easily with food and rent money.  go to the job service on state...it's passed 72nd on the west side of the road if i'm remembering right.  it has all the agencies that can help you with financial aid and it has tons of job listings as well.
