i hate it that yesterday was so stressful with the meeting at my son's treatment facility and i'm still feeling the effects today. the staff and i have some difficult decisions ahead. i did get to see the little pain in the butt and he did talk to me, so that was a good point. i hate it that he truly believed his dad and dad's gf were going to "save" him and not allow him to be placed in residential treatment. i hate it even more that it wasn't a childish fantasy but something they led him to believe.

PM HUGS Dear Heart...you can only do what you must to help him. I am so sorry to hear how stressful this is, and I know it is. Maybe one day he will see who truly wants to help him instead of just lead him on. Take time for you. Sink into a hot tub of fragrant bubbles and soft music and just relax knowing you are doing all you can to help him help himself.

Lushy you are going to come out of this kicking butt and spitting Doms..remember what I said, when you are not looking is when the perfect person will find you...you deserve the best.

poenkitten lucky to have had that happen twice to her with BP and buttah.

i hate it that i'm so damn emotional, but love it that i have so many people in my corner. i hope that someday i can be as supportive to you all as you've been to me. cub and i are pretty much a mess right now, i think he's cried as much as i have over the events that are unfolding right now. we're both blessed to have friends who understand and support us. thank you all!

Post flyers anywhere you can, at the store, at colleges, anywhere you legitimately can. Get a throwaway prepaid phone to use as a "Consulting Phone" if you don't want your home number everywhere. I know several former IT people in my area who have gone out on their own consulting for individuals and small businesses. Have you seen what the Geek Squad charges!?!?! And people call them every day.

Asher, you are so talented and qualified. Why wait for someone else to give you an opportunity? Make one for yourself!!!

PM I have also gone through the addictions, the results of addictions, while I hate to type it my two oldest trying suicide

My oldest got hold of some bad meth which blew him into psyshotic episode where not only did I have to get him admitted, but I had to go before the judge at the hospital to beg them to continue treatment, because he was still in that stage and to send him to the nearest state facility would have made it impossible for any family to visit him.

I have gone through hell and many acres with both but alot had to do with no self worth which my last ex liked to remind them they were worthless.

My son has had to of those episodes, he fought the last, till he got a dui and is not required to go for frequent treatment.

My daughter drinks excessivly and daily, refused to admit all if not right in her head and self doses.

They are adults now, I did my best, all three love and adore me the mother and dont blame me for the chaos of their childhood.

My box is always open to if you need help in that respect

Add me to the list of those who found the perfect relationship once I stopped looking. I had taken my pic off my profile & unchecked everything except "Friends Only" when he reappeared in my life. I actually decided to meet His Evilness f2f the first time after he kinda challenged me, saying he didn't believe I had the guts to show up. LOL I told him it would be just for occasional play when I happened to be in town & felt like playing. A week from tomorrow, it will be a year that I have been marked as his & as I told him last night on the phone during one of those really long, difficult discussions, it's the best thing that's ever happened to me in my whole life. The whole poly relationship just seems like magic to me. How 3 people could come together & feel about each other the way we feel is amazing to me. I am truly blessed.

On topic: I hate it that I will probably have to go back to driving over the road & not be able to spend enough time with them. Again.

Asher, also photo stores. I walked into the one here to pick up a picture they copied and enlarged. Ran into a friend who was asking advice on how to scan photos in. If someone had a sign up there offering such services, either to do it or teach us how to do it, we both would have copied down the number.

I can't even program a cell phone and when the teen goes off to college I'll be in major trouble. I hate having to unplug the computer and carry it into the shop in town. Would much prefer someone who would come here and give it a yearly cleaning, upgrade AVG pro, decide if it needed a registry cleaner and if so do it, etc. Make up a flyer and put it up in grocery stores, dry cleaners etc.

Thank you very much. I know you are right. But the last 2 days have been hard .I found it particularly insensitive even though he said he was trying to be helpful he said dont read anything into this. Why would he say that unless hesuspected that is what would happen, so he knew it upset me. But as usual it was his needs that came first and to hell with my feelings. In the final hour, I expected nothing but I didnt expect it to come down like such a hammer. He took the power away of things being my decision and when I was ready.

But you are right about the Doms. I am speaking to someone now ,who I spoke to 3 years ago. It never took off as we were looking for different things. He is looking to practice his rope bondage and said it would not be sexual. In a club setting this is what I seek at the time. He has extended friendship and someone to walk a nearby track with. He happens to be of similar desire, culture, intelligence, temperament and hes Hawt as hell! So this is my start. Freindship and nonsexual play and see what else unfolds in that direction in its own time.
