Status: offline 		oh just one more thing, i hate that after being laid off and as i was leaving they asked if they have any questions, if it's ok to call me.  what the fuck?  they want to lay me off and then call me when they can't figure out what the hell they're doing with the finishes?  um, don't think so.

What I am saying is that failing to follow proper instructions given by a medical practitioner after an at-work injury, will not bode well for the injured employee.  If the employee returns to work, against medical advice, the employee will most probably not be covered for future medical expenses by the company - because of failure to comply with the doctor's orders.

Workman's comp injuries and claims need to be followed to the letter, otherwise you get what you get... no support from the employer, and no compensation for failure to do what you were told.

If you return too soon, etc., you're shit outta luck, and if you don't do the PT or whatever they tell you to do, again, you're shit outta luck.  Follow the rules they set forth or you screw yourself.  It's really that simple.

i don't allow anyone back to work when they've been on comp unless they have a doctors note, and the doc has outlined specifically what they are and are not allowed to do.

we had 4 workers out of 60 on comp at one time. wreaked havoc when i was doing the scheduling... manual handling is a must do at LEAST on a yearly basis, and if i hear one whisper of pain, i'm on it in a heartbeat!

i did get a concussion, filled out the papers but did NOT get a note from the doc saying to stay home.  i needed the money so i worked today...ended up getting laid off but what the fuck i guess.  maybe the concussion is cushioning the blow.
