Sorry, Greedy-sweets.   That's way past this girl's bedtime, especially since I'm taking care of Mr. Smarties and Lumus is sicker than a dog. Lumus is burning up with a fever and still planning on going to work. I've stocked up on chicken noodle soup and Fisherman's Friend cough drops, which is all we can do for now. I'll give it a couple of days before I start insisting he see the doctor. He's, uhhhhhhhh, kinda stubborn about that.

Soooooooo, look for a massive, huge-ass cmail in a bit from me. I gots some info for you that you may, or may not have already.

(It's starting to scare me about how I've learned so frickin' much about immigrating to another country in the last year.....)

Status: offline 		damn, i hate that so many good things have had some pretty crappy things follow them like GT and Pirate's immigration bs, Linnea getting a job that will interfere with the other parts of her life, folks going thru breakups, job loss, illnesses and all kinds of rotten things.  i hate that i'm gone for a couple days and miss so much, but unfortunately can't stick around and get caught up.  hope the next time i can pop in the i hate thread won't be so busy!

Status: offline 		Don't get me wrong.  I am so grateful that I was offered this job & will be making enough money to get ahead.  I am also grateful that I have been blessed with a relationship with these incredibly special people who love me & want to keep me no matter where I am.  So it's not the ideal situation, but it's better than most!

Blackphx is the same way, bless him, but there are times I have to get all Switch on him even though he is NOT submissive in any way. I have been known to pick up the phone and call him out sick and his boss knows when I do he is SICK..as that man would show up to work if he had to crawl there, too sick to drive.

Status: offline 		Daddy is like that too, if he takes off of work sick you KNOW he don't feel good. Only I've never had to call in for him to make him stay.

One time he was at my house 2 hours away from work and he had a tooth ache and was up till 6 am with a raging toothache, and he called work, at my insisting, and he said I'm just going to have to come in later, and he slept a few hours then went to work with the raging toothache.

  Poen, the problem is that Lumus is THE manager that literally opens up the centre and gets it ready for the day. He's the operations manager. He can't just call in. Even just to get today off, he had to make arrangements yesterday because he was thinking he might be too sick to work today. How messed up is that? To have to arrange your sick days in advance? But it's the price he pays for being management.

Thanks though. I really wish he would stay home - he needs it. (But then on the other hand, considering how Mr. Smarties was acting today, work might be easier to rest at......)

GODDAMNSUMMABITCHES!!!!! I hate it when people buzz our apartment at 1120 PM and it's a couple of assholes looking for a local bartender!!! They couldn't just buzz and let go, they had to hold the damn thing DOWN AND KEEP PUSHING! Yes, I got snarky with them, you would too if you had a sleeping munchkin and a very sick Daddy trying to sleep...
