The bad part - I'm up to my eyeballs in other projects the rest of the next 2 weeks between now and the 14th, and therefore can't be of much use to her after tomorrow. The good part, babysitter called back - he reamed a few people on his end, he's going to be down both tomorrow and saturday with the truck AND my "spare" babysitter (an 18 yr old cousin of mine) will be here both days as well - which means that he's going to be on hand to play strong back/weak mind to move the heavy shit for us. Got off the phone with her a few minutes ago, and she's just about got everything packed - so as soon as she gets out of her last class for today, she'll be headed over there to pack the last of it and have everything ready to start stuffing in the back of the truck first thing tomorrow morning when he gets here with it. Between now and the 14th, I have to get several sewing projects done (4 outfits for myself, 4 outfits that have been promised to other people, and a pair of overstuffed oversized pillows to fit in the seats of a pair of throne style break down wooden chairs) - have to make the pair of chairs, a break down side table, and a rope bed (about a single afternoon's project for saturday to get all of it done, since there are no pegs or anything like that - just pieces to cut with the jig saw, a few holes to drill, and a bit of sanding and staining to do, but 3 people to work the power tools to accomplish it all in the back yard, and weather in the 80s) - have to unpack, wash, and repack the tote with all my costuming in it - have to unpack, clean, and repack the tote with my camp kitchen in it - have to set up and air out 3 tents, make certain none of them need any repairs, and then repack them - make 3 hanging banners to go on either chairs or hang on the outside of tents (fabric painting projects, fortunately those go Very fast) - finish doing the menu planning and grocery shopping for myself and the 3 people who are specifically camping with me at this event (luckily the meat has already been decided on and ordered, and is being delivered 2 days before we're supposed to leave for Mississippi - wild boar, buffalo, elk, venison, quail, & rabbit are on the menu at various points during the week we'll be there) ............ and in the midst of all that, find time to breath, eat, sleep, take care of dad, and try to at least pretend I'm getting something done with the work in my shop.... especially since I Just got an email notification that someone ordered a gallon of lotion on my business website......
