I read that on Craigslist about the fake money orders, which really sucks!! Used to be that lots of places would insist on money orders or cash rather than personal checks. With the phony ones out there, that's no longer safe either.

I'm glad to hear that your bank is backing you on those bogus checks,as there are numerous scammers out there that are pushing bogus checks,under quite a few disguises,work at home programs & etc. Take it from one who's been burned,and stuck for the amount of the check!

Good luck girly...I had my first one 2 years ago (and almost a 2nd one soon after where she thinks she caught it on time...I had preferred she would have done there the root canal treatment as well then at least I know that's over and dealt with)...IMO its not a big deal, best wishes

indeed...I also had fraudsters on my account recently as twice £30 each got deducted to top up a fucking pre pay mobile phone with a company I am not with at all...

thankfully I got my money re-imbursed from my bank and had to sign that I have nothing at all to do with that money-movement...and got a new bank card...

i hate it that i forgot to eat and now my tummy is flipping cartwheels.
i hate it that i am so tired
i hate it that i have to put the groceries away and don't have the energy

Big hugs, Holly. The first thing that you need to do is eat something, maybe a piece of bread to start? Get some protein & you won't feel quite so tired. And stop overdoing it, you silly woman. Only use the inhaler as needed. Pneumonia is a serious illness & the recovery time can be weeks. I'm prone to pneumonia & bronchitis so I know whereof I speak. But you already know all this I'll bet, since you're one of those nursey types.

I've heard that, Angel. But I think that the absolute worst patient in the entire Universe, known & unknown, would be me. I'm not a nursey type, but I am such an awful patient that I've been kicked out of hospitals, recovery rooms, had nurses refuse to care for me, etc. I don't mean to be that awful, it just sort of happens. The real reason I was kicked out of that recovery room, though was the drugs that they gave me for the surgery. I kept calling the nurses over & telling them to put the crying infant in my bed so I could comfort it because they obviously didn't have that kind of time. Not sure how many times I did that before they said I could go to my room. I said, "But the Dr said I had to stay here till I got feeling back in my leg & I can't feel it yet." They kicked me out anyway. *sigh*

how'd you get back to your room?

i make a really good patient. i do as much for myself as i can, i'm in and out quickly. i remember from prac how much i appreciated those patients, lol!

LOL They wheeled me there. I really do try to be a good patient, honest. It just sort of happens that I annoy the staff, I guess. The last hospitalization, I had a panic attack in the middle of the night & neither I nor anybody else realized what it was till I had alienated most of the people who worked there. They brought me an ativan, I slept & was discharged first thing in the am! "Get the crazy one outta here!!!"

The first nurse I had when I had 8 fractures didn't like my attitude, so they moved me the next day & I got the angel nurse who completely understood that getting run over by a car & breaking 8 bones at once might make one a little grumpy. She stayed with me for the whole 2 weeks I was there & I still think of her & smile to this day.

I hate it when I have to fly to see my parents, and mom forgets to tell me until now that the flight im on is 5 hrs and doesnt serve food. Bah, gotta go buy snacks
