The last two summers I just could not handle the heat at all. I would literally feel like my head was joing to explode and get beet red. So far (knock wood) it isn't bothering me. I'm not going to get too excited yet, there is hotter stuff coming and much more strenous work than I've been doing. Just taking it easy and working my way into it. The horses are miserable also. I've just been letting them do whatever they want. No riding or training. Just keeping them in fresh water and sprayed for flies and mosquitos. We went from very cool weather to really hot. Just a little over a week ago we had lows down in the 40's and even a night or two in the high 30's. Wearing sweats and wooly socks. Now it's, melt your face off, hot. And lots of rain and bad storms are making it grossly humid. I think it was 93% the other day and is high 80something right now with the temp pushing 90. Thank god for a cool shower at the end of the day and central air. I would be miserable trying to sleep without it.
