I hate there are people here who are hurting... physically, emotionally, etc. I wish that I could pass out real live hugs and make you all feel better.

I hate that sometimes it takes a virtual smack in the head to hit the "reset" button in my world... but at least it seems to have "reset." (Thank You, God)

I hate it when I am sitting in the hospital wondering when we will find out what is wrong. *sighs*

I hate watching them poke and prod and just make miserable someone I love. ~ Though I know it is for their own good in the end.

I hate it when anyone is sick.

I hate it when I read all of the prayer cards and see all of the pictures in the chapel here and feel so unable to help any of them. But boy did I pray.

I hate it when people who are important to me are so far away.

I hate it when I can not just fix it.

i hate that i have such an irrational fear of driving during this particular holiday. i hate that childhood events have that much power over me. i am usually a fairly courageous person, but hate that i have this irrational mental block.

i always tell people "G-d hasn't given us the spirit of fear...." Yet this one thing always cripples me. i hate that i can't celebrate such an historic day to the fullest.

i have found that my enjoyment of holidays is very much enhanced/destroyed by the people i am with.
Also, my idea of a nice way to celebrate is often different from the choices available to me.
(i seem to spend a lot of time just staying in and hiding.)

i can really relate..... i was thinking last night as i was on the phone how some dumb ass in the neighborhood had let off some of those loud but invisible firework things..... Really annoying...And in the past, they would induce extreme and debilitating flashbacks for me. For a variety of reasons this is, by far, the worst of all the holidays that exists..... i've had to recreate the holiday completely. i've had to basically go back to the very beginning and decide if i wanted to acknowledge it, what i wanted it to mean, how i wanted to celbrate it, and go from there. i'm sorry this is such a difficult time for you...Please don't be so hard on yourself.
