In the end, it didn't matter on the dry food part as the dog loved to eat the prescribed additive (which was flavored with who knows what). As long as the additive was applied, the dog ended up eating pretty much anything.
I hate that you're going through this Greedy. It's tough trying to figure out what an animal is thinking or wants when we can't understand their language.
