it is such a precious memory. That song was playing as the various military personnel passed through the Color Guard and placed a flower close to his hands.
Its funny that what i remember most about those few moments were all the white gloves. Grown men in full dress uniforms and white gloves giving him a flower, stepping back and saluting him.
*smiles* I know he saluted each of them in return.

No, I have not lost anyone in this manner, but I have lost in other ways. It's nights like this one when I remember why I can't stand to leave CM.
