LOL, zephy. I agree that directness is needed often, but there are ways to be direct that don't injure, but merely inform. DB and I talk of this topic quite a bit. When a clue by four is needed, DB does the talking. When a direct, yet more diplomatic approach is needed, I tell the person. It's not that I can't be blunt as a spoon, and not that He can't be gentle in His phrasing, but we stick to what we're good at and have divided the tasks along our personal strengths and weaknesses. [:)]

I hate it when yesterday someone insulted me and my friends saying we were mean to the weak. We showed them their assumptions were wrong. Private e-mails to cite examples to the contrary and explanations of why they read things wrong. I hate it when they are too proud to give an apology. I am very happy however that someone else apologized personally to me for their part in the unapologetic persons misunderstanding.

I hate my public library right now. I checked out a book on cd put it on my computer and then returned it with all 6 discs included. They checked the book back in andput it back on the shelf for someone else to check out now a disc is missing and they are trying to hold me responsible. I don't think so.
