Gwyn, you are in a toxic situation but you and I have exchanged emails about this. You can't stay in it. You won't do your self, your UM or the girl any good if you are so brow beaten you can't see your own way out. If you move nearby the um can see you..if not, then phone and computer and visits will have to suffice..but there was obviously a reason the Um's mother booked and it looks like you found out what it was. Taking Um with her may not have been an option she was given...from what it sounds like..I suspect it wasn't. So what do I hate? That I don't have enough fundage to get you out of there into an apartment of your own and that there is no way on CM for people who love you to contribute a few dollars and help you out of there. Poenkitten (growling in frustration)

You were in her life giving her quality time before you moved in...making time for her. You can explain to her that things will go back to the way they were before you moved in.. only now you will be that much closer because you had the special time with her while you lived there... She will be upset when you move, your um will be too... but if you can include some together time and some time for her, it will all work out....it is just a change. You are very good at understanding the need for constancy...and you can provide that whether you are living there or not.

you EVIL EVIL WOMAN! actually the best way to get your OWN blood out of cotton fabrics is to use your own spit. something about your own proteins breaking down the blood (from someone who has put blood, sweat AND tears into my quilts)

LRF, i LOVE your new avatar, it's great! ok, what i was going to say before i got side tracked was i hate it when it rains like crazy for 2 days straight and when i go outside to see what the weather is doing, it is not only pouring rain again, but the all the sprinklers are going full force across the street at the cemetery.....wtf?

(and he absolutely LOATHES paisley patterns, hehe). when i finished it, i thought, well, it's a new time of my life, a rebirth. so it was an appropriate symbology. both the thinking and the rebirth. one of my fave quilts now!

grrr, i really hate it when i discover there's a big spider bite on the top of my foot. that means one of those suckers is in my bedroom somewhere and i'm not going to be able to go to sleep tonight until i find it/them. i think it's war.

I hate it when I got to go in 2 hours early so I can still pull a 12 hour shift but in 12 hours it will be well worth it :)
