That does sound like an unhappy situation, I am sorry that she is in such an awful place emotionally. Perhaps along with LusciousLips cellphone idea you could tape record things for her? Maybe some short stories to listen to at bedtime and things like that?
Or set up dates with just her, special fun outings where she knows she won't be stood up and disappointed. Planning things like that can be awfully fun. Maps can be drawn, picnics prepared. It may help her a lot to know that no matter where you and she are, she has a friend that loves her and that she can depend upon.






That's a good idea, Camille. Gwynn, maybe if you moved relatively close by, you could keep her on weekends when you're not busy, or plan monthly pajama parties, go to the amusement park, stay all day & when it's time to go home, she'll be out cold sleeping/won't know when you leave. (Tell her earlier of course, don't just let her wake up surprised that you're gone).

i hate it when i open my mail and there's nothing i want to deal with at all in there
i hate it when doctors think they know everything.
i hate it when there's people around and i'm still lonely.
i hate it when no matter how hard i try, nothing goes as planned.
i hate it when all i want is to curl up and cry but i don't have the motivation for even that.
i hate it when i think too much and realize i'm better off not thinking about any of it.

Sin?  Get up, get dressed if you're not already, and take a walk, get an ice cream cone if it's within walking distance or a soda if that's all there is but ice cream is better, feel the cool creaminess of the ice cream on your tongue and feel the texture change as it melts, walk slowly and look at the birds, hear them singing, listen to the sound your feet make on the sidewalk, feel the breeze on your face and in your hair.  Go on!

Get the roomies mom to move in his house, you move down the street to hers.... after you change the locks.  Then.... leave a trail of fish sticks from  the little piddy's house to the new place.  Lamb won't work, for obvious reasons.  The roomies mom is at his place all the time anyways, right?  Just a thought.

I have known her for less then a year..( 8 months) lived with her for only a month and a half... and the idea of leaving her kills me.. I have no idea how a parent could leave thier um. just boggles my mind.

Just let her know you are just a phone call away. Maybe give her one of those prepaid phones to contact you with.


She can use her dads any time.. he actualy lets her use it now to call back home. *sighs* not exactly the same a`s having a female rolemodel there.. but I gotta do something.

It will take some time before I can move ( finaces suck.. and no car sucks even worse.. have you seen how much my furniture weighs? holy hera! )

Rotary cutters are EVIL! I have lost *pints* of blood with them.

I finaly gave all of mine away. Nope... no more. It isnt a *real* project untill it has at least a wee bit of blood on it. *chuckles*

I love the sound of your quilt hun. I love them.

My Church sewing group has made quilted tapestries for the sanctuary this past year. They are of the elements... I will have to take picts and post them on my website for you to see them!
