Do you have a glucometer to check your sugar level?
If not, go to the local FD/have it checked for free.


if you buy a glucometer...
they are really cheap. It is the cost of the strips that will blow you out of the water. It pays to check some prices...

Oh lordy, lordy... After all I've been through health-wise the last few months???? I've had tests and more tests run on me....  This is something that I've dealt with for years. Just means I'll have to be even more careful. [>:]

On the good news, I am cancer-free! It's just a benign cyst on my pancreas.... Which shouldn't be causing any of these problems according to the specialist....

Dunno...but i would establish with a PCP as soon as you can, as well as with an endo if it happens again.



I was thinking it was stress related also. Regardless of the fact everything is going so well there, that was a MAJOR life change and it was bound to catch up w/you physically. Do what Holly suggested, find a PCP and get yourself checked out sooner rather than later, girlfriend!

It has to be the stress of the move, is the only thing I can think of.... Heaven knows we barely drink here, I'm not on any meds for diabetes, ummm, it could be the meal issue though I try to be good about it. So that leaves the stress....  I'm doing ok, just gonna have a good dinner and early bed tonight. TO SLEEP, ya pervs......

I hate it when I write to the email list of the longest-running, most successful BDSM group in my local area to ask for suggestions/advice for starting a group for the 18-35 set and I only get one useful suggestion.
 
I also hate it when some dumb c*nt who is only barely literate bitches because I'm "wasting her time" and the time of everyone else on the list because most of them are "too old."  Ya know, cuz clearly once you hit 40 your brain turns to mush and leaks out your ears and all your experience and wisdom dries up and blows away like a Texas tumbleweed.

I did get gestational diabetes with my 3rd pregnancy (second birth), and did the insulin thing six times a day.  It was gone as soon as I delivered.  There is no history in my family, other than my sister getting it with her twins (also gone at delivery).

I've been tested many times, still have my meter and whatnot.  I have my own beliefs about nutrition and that is that not every person functions the same way.  All you have to do is look around and I believe, you will see what I mean.  You may know a vegetarian that eats fruits and veggies all day and feels great.  If I did that, I would be miserable from the highs & lows.  I eat mostly meat and vegetables - yet if that vegetarian tried it, they would most likely feel awful.  So I don't think that every person's body processes food the same way.  I think that people have to find what works for THEM, what sort of eating plan makes them feel the best and function the best.

Avoiding most carbs, particularly fruit (although I do eat blueberries & some other berries which are low in natural sugar), makes me feel good and function well.

You prob. dont.. but some of my co workers got an earfull of it.

Did you also know that handsanitizer stings like a sumbitch if it drips down your butt in the wrong places causing you to hop and curse even more?

Now it is funny.... then.. then it just pissed me the hell off.

I hate it when (and I might have bitched about this before, but it happened again tonight), you are approaching an intersection with a four-way stop.  You see a car on the cross street to the right of you... sitting there... waiting... waiting.  You are slowing down, preparing to stop at the intersection.  That other car is still sitting there... waiting.  Waiting.  WAITING.  You come to a complete stop and look at them.

Then they go.

Why oh WHYYYYYY do they have to sit there FOREVER until you come to a complete stop before they will take their turn?  Sometimes they even require the action of you throwing your hands up in the air like this:  [sm=gaah.gif] before they will MOVE!!!  They could have been gone by now, instead of having a stare-down with you, and YOU could have been thru the intersection and on your merry way!  [sm=gaah.gif]
