That's when I'd like to give them a good smack or two. Last night, He asked me something, I started to answer, then He got up and said that He didn't care and it didn't matter anyway. My dad said I deserved a gold star for refraining from assault on His person. grrrr My ex-husband used to start shit and walk off. I surely don't need this crap coming from Him right now, given all the other shit going on in my world. ps ~ you can tell me all about the fireworks. I didn't even leave my apt today.

i know that i'm the sub in the relationship and i know he had to work on july 4th and djs tonight but i would prefer that the response not be, okay i get that you're happy, when HE WAS THE ONE THAT TOLD ME TO GO IN THE FIRST PLACE... like my mom likes to say sometimes i wonder what's wrong with that boy. He would be throttled if He were here i know that for a fact...in fact from the sounds of it both of ours would be throttled if they were within throttle reach...

I used to MC the 4th of July festivities in an adjoining town and it was always thrilling to see. I miss doing my little gig. But I have lots of nice memories.

Oh, that is so cool you used to MC the festivities! I took the kids to watch our local fireworks last night (yes, they were on 7/3 ???) We couldn't get too close due to traffic and wound up watching them with a road between us and the fireworks - not in the usual field we go to. It's really stupid watching fireworks with cars zipping by ... very antiseptic. I got spoiled with my own 4th of July memories growing up - our neighborhood had the best day on the 4th - a huge parade, games and rides, baseball games at the fields, capped off with fireworks. Damn, it was great when I was in high school and we roamed all around that day, feeling like we were on top of the world, wondering who we'd hook up with during the fireworks in the dark, etc. ... sigh ... memories... fluffy, i'm glad your fireworks experience was so good!
