Imp..darling.. my mother, at age 42, went back to college as a grad student to get her Masters in psychology.  She's no slouch, either.  But (even though she aced her oral exams) she went through the same bits of self doubt etc.
It's normal. 
Remind yourself of this:  You ARE knowledgable, or you wouldn't be graduating. Expert? Yes.. but that will increase as you USE the knowledge. 
You'll do fine, sweetie... *hugs*

I hate it when there's a little less than a week before my girl arrives and I realize  I AM FREAKING OUT!!!
 
I haven't had a 24/7 D/s relationship since my ex-husband proved he wasn't really submissive...just a passive-agressive ass.  My brain is on overdrive and playing the "what if" game -- what if it we don't like living together, what if she decides I'm not as great as she thinks I am now, what if she and Spyder get on each other's nerves once she's here, what if my admittedly moderate experience with this lifestyle is less than she wants, what if, what if, what if...

I know, I know.  Hell, she already went through one of the worst breakups of my life with me.  And we hadn't even met yet.  She's seen me at what's probably my worst and she doesn't seem to mind.  Although there's still residual emotional crap from the aforementioned breakup, it's really just nerves on my part.

I hate that I feel asleep so early last night (before 8 ).
I hate that I miss Phoenix calling, I didn't even hear the phone ring.
I hate that I missed tucking my kids into bed and kissing them good night. (yes I still do that EVERY night)
I hate that I have been awake for 30 minutes and it's way to damn early to be up.
I hate that Phoenix is coming over sometime today but I have no idea when. -laughs-

what if i havent had a 24/7 relationship since my divorce because this was the one i was waiting for

what if after living together we cannot ever phathom being apart

what if she decides i am nothing like i am now, i am better, i am tangible, i am present, and aware of her presence, and i am no longer great, we are great, we are fkn fab

what if she and spyder get on each others nerves when she is here and i get to prove my natural instincts of being loving and protective and capable to make things ok, and work things out

what if my moderate experience is less that she wants and so together we turn that into expertise, molding it to exactly how it suits us

I hate when I wake up too early because I'm worried about getting everything done. The list is very long and detailed (jeez I love lists lol) but the problem is that I can't even stand up today or put any weight on my stupid feet.
Dammit I have so much crap to get done in the  next 2 days, stuff that cannot be put off and I can't figure out a way to get it done!

Oh that doesn't bother me. There is a herd of cows just down the road, it may be totally weird and squicky but.... I happen to like that smell.
