OMG. In my journal I wrote this bit about men who act all interested, evaporate, then come back all "hey! what about me!". Today I got cmail from a guy who went totally OFF on me because I did not INSTANTLY RESPOND TO EVERY CALL. Srsly. Back in June, we were talking, and in the space of two days I got two calls and three PM's, and I don't have the YIM on all the time, so the PM's all came at one time. That SAME weekend, there was yet another death in the family (I have gone to I think seven funerals in the last four months, family and friends) so I wrote saying that the kumquats had hit the jugular and I wouldn't be in touch for a few days. Evidently, my paltry note WAS NOT ENOUGH. So I got a LECTURE. On my Rudeness and General Bad Behaviour.

Well, my response to the Lecture was, Sorry we are not in agreement here, x, y, z, transpired and rudeness was not my intent. I was promptly informed that I was VERY RUDE INDEED!! And I said, sorry, charlie, sayonara, since obvy I don't make the grade here.
So, onward to Other Companions. (the new one calls me "bitch" as a term of endearment. it could be love![:)])
TODAY, in response to my journal entry, I GET ANOTHER LECTURE!!! [>:] Honest to "Bob", what's a person to think? I am utterly incredulous that this guy would actually think that the way into my heart would be to lecture me MORE! Because yes, friends, he wants to re-open what passed for lines of communication. Yes, the internets are a world of wonders. So, I explained my view, that temper is Not Good in my world, and apologized, in the neutral non-apology fashion of one who has worked in the service industry for 25 years. And said to myself THIS IS WHY YOU NEVER DATE ITALIAN MEN. I get this shit at home for free, why add to it?
