i hate that i avoid the political threads and so many political threads are getting moved here.  yeah, yeah, i'll still stay away but it's annoying all the same.

RLS has nothing to do with thoughts. Master has it and there are times I really contemplate duct taping his legs to the bed...sigh. He won't take meds for it and frankly as long as it doesn't disrupt his sleep I agree. RLS may have a genetic component, may be have an underlying cause suich as a medication or other ailment. Meanwhile, despite neuropathy, I can still pick up coins with my toes and flex them independently. It's a talent like curling your tongue in certain ways (I can) or being double jointed (I'm not).

Oh, trust me girls, I'll wear the schoolgirl getup tonight.  It's just that the stiff white button-down shirt, looks so, well, stiff that it looks like a pavilion (specifically a Panther Pavilion, for those that know what that means).  I do better with soft things that skim the body and float a bit. LOL.

And I wanted over the knee white or black socks, but could only find them for skinny-legged chicks.

I hate that tonight when I was getting ready to go to a bdsm club here my latex skirt split from top to bottom ..... buggar!!  So instead of looking all cool in black and red I could only find a hot pink skirt in my cupboard so it was black, red and pink......hmmmmm not quite the image I had in mind when meeting a heap of new people. [:D]

Great big hugs to LadyH.  I hope you get the love you want and deserve.  I actually wish that to all the gals here.  All of us have so much to give...  it seems strange that the right match doesn't sort of cross paths in the way that we know "that person is the one for me!"

It finally stopped raining here.

And yes I think most of them just look at the pictures.


I hate that I am reluctant to just pick a state of permanent residence. Mostly because it would be umm permanent and you would think for someone who craves stability this would be a wise decision, but I'm so picky when looking for jobs that it makes it hard to pick a place to live. Well and to be honest I'm kinda scared of the permanancy.

RLS is a real bitch... I also have it.. combine with Arthritis and whoo boy.

If it was bull hoky then why do they have meds for it, and commericals.. and oh.. why is it listed as a malidy in the medical journals.

I did however find out that if you mastrbate when the RLS is the worst.. it tends to calm down enough so you can sleep.  ( Just being helpful) LOL

Thank you for that link.. well crap.. 2 of my meds makes it worse.. No wonder I have so many issues. But there is no other med for my migraines that actualy works.. ( having been in trial study after trial study this I know for sure..) *ugh* and if someone was to take away my Compazine for when they get really bad.. and I cant keep anything down.. well.. we would have a dead little Gwynnie. My blood sugar crashes too easily.

i hate that i am forced to work with some not your "sharpest tool in the shed" nurses. i feel stressed having to go behind them and checking to make sure patients are alright.

oh that sucks... we had some real ding bats in the alf I used to work at.. I *hated* that feeling... running around.. checking med logs.. making sure no one was going to get hurt.. *ugh* putting away knives.. and locking the kitchen behind them.. knowing they were aware of some none too stable patients that would use them in interesting ways.. *shakes her head* One had Schizophrenia along with alzheimer's. She was a chore in it's self to keep up with. ~ and she only took like 20 min to 30 min naps. No rest for the weary on my side. They would just leave everything out... and she would run around with what ever sharp thing trying to stab the others, and us.

*shakes her head some more*

I lived next door and I was the only one who got through to her.. and who understood what she was saying.. there were many times on my days off she would have a total melt down. Living next door I then never had a day off.

You'd think if they have certs, they want to be there.. and they would be sharp about thier job.. nope. *hugs*

Sorry you are going through idiot co-workers. In an office it is one thing.. but with peoples lives it is quite another.

these people are licensed nurses...um we all took the same classes...had to pass the same boards..i just don't get it.
work is not just a paycheck to me....it is more about really making someone feel better and always safe when i am caring for them. i took on another job (part-time) this past week...i can only hope that it will work into more full-time, so that i can quit this other job. (then there is always the trip to Florida to check out job opportunities)
i don't know how many more nights i can walk out of this place shaking my head and saying "wtf...how did they get their license?"
