This is beautiful, Angel.  But it's not just mothers.  I still take care of my brother (severe retardation, autism, bipolar, and schizophrenia) in my home after Mom passed away (cancer) last November.  Love without limits, eh?

Status: offline 		because there seem to be so many women here affected by bipolar in their loved ones, this is the website where i found that poem. it wasn't properly attributed, so i couldn't credit the writer. the small section entitled "Click here when you are at wits end!" goes to a powerpoint like presentation. it seemed particularly poignant for red, when i thought back to what she's been saying about being true to herself despite pressures and pain not to. i'm sure it will touch more than one person here though.

I hate that I'm missing her already!  Her operation is on Thurs. and they have another foster home lined up closer to her forever home so that she can rest while her stitches heal (which she won't do with Jilly & Jolly around), get her last shot then move on.

Lady H..the reason we never seem to have time to share with our friends about our love lives as we get older is we are having too much fun having one and appreciating it. Even when we are NOT having one, we ain't telling her so she can gloat...

I will hopefully hit Oregon as well in the coming year..one never knows but I get to fly on BP's companion pass occasionally.
