i hate that my daughter went to her doctor today & found out that she has a *HUGE* mass in her uterus & can't have it removed for 3 weeks...i hate that i can't be there to hold her while she cries...i hate that i can't be there to put Jackass The Movie on so that we can laugh till we pee our pants again....i hate that i can't take this away for her & bear it myself......

I wish I could, but only Master gets to go on this trip..it is a two parter, Monday he flies to Ga..then Wednesday to Chicago and friday Home, so I get to stay home and pine for his handsome fuzzy self... sigh.  The sites that he is supposed to be working on are apparently just north of Chicago proper, but I don't have all the information. I SWEAR his boss likes making sure he is ony home on weekends and too tired for fun.

Linea I am so sorry to hear this about your daughter and will keep all hope that it is little more than a fibroid (usual cause of uterine mass's) I know she is scared and no matter how old we are, Mom is our best comfort (unless it was mine).

Stay strong and send her all the good thoughts we muster for her. Oh, and a side note, you are bearing it with her..even if you aren't actually carrying it.

thanks, wonderful peoples...my sister is lighting candles at the National Cathedral for her too...when my sister, the Center of the Universe, starts lighting candles, everything usually turns out good...all the prayers are appreciated......
