I work for hundreds of banks... ( FI's we call them) You couldnt get me to put even $20 in a normal FI right now. I know the hell they are going through. I use our Federal Credit Union at work. It is non profit, they fight hard for every thing they have.. and take no BS risky chances. Thoer fees are also muc much smaller.

Having worked for Bank of America Directly.. and now seeing hunreds of banks begining to really feel the pressure of the sub prime bs... oh no thank you.

Not only are the banks buckling under the subprime crap.. but all of thier investments. Not to menion thier insurance is going up sky high. With more fraud being committed then ever before in such a sort period Quntas and other insurance carriers which back banks are going to be asking for blood next quarter.

I like my safe little credit union.

*grumbles about Chase* They have the worst worst worst customer service. I have been battling now for over a month on a simple fraud claim. They keep saying they havent recived my letters, or my faxes... They are trying to wait untill the time runs out and then tell me too bad. I realy honestly hate them.

I hope you all never have a single account issue with them.

I could bite someones head off from there right now.

i hate it that i'm having to stay in Los Angeles another night, which means that it's another day till i get to see Spike, another day till i get to see himself, another day till i can get Spike his kitten, another day to just hang out & not do much...although Daddy suggested i go skinny-dipping, which might be kinda exciting in broad daylight....

have you tried Panda anti virus.. it usualy picks up most of the crap tossed at it. I swear by it.

I had all of my clients get it for thier biz and home pc's when I was consulting.

I hate that the program I need for class for some dumb assed reason is not on my pc. *sighs* and I have never even used it before and I will need it. I have to do a complete Biz proposal in Powerpoint as my final. *sighs*

There is a blade in every room of our house..if not a sword then something that fits on a table and I am damned good with their use. Gwyn can describe the one right by the front door. Lovely little serrated pointy thingy. <EG> I also sleep au natural and my hair needs it's own dom or slave to get it to behave.

BP prefers the gun, but I like blades..I always feel that you should look into the eyes of someone you are about to hurt horribly. Of course that is after they trip over the cat, and two dogs in the dark.

gwyn, can you use neooffice instead? freeware and has virtually all the same things as the dreaded evil empire. it can also save into the E.E. formats.

and my big akita showed the thieves where all my jewelry was. mind you we think he also knew the thief. i always found it interesting that the cops suspected my ex (who wasn't quite an ex at the time)

When I got that one on my computer last weekend, I couldn't get the malbytes thing to work so I just did a system restore to a previous date when I didn't have the virus.  Have you tried doing that?  It's very simple and effective.

ps ~ stop downloading all the porn, cavewoman!  (giggles wildly and runs off the thread)
