When you say it's not giving you the option, do you mean that "Install New Font" isn't an option on the File menu? It should be. But the fon't won't be listed because it's not in the default folder. You first have to navigate (via the "Folders" box) to wherever you put the font when you downloaded it. Then it will show in the "List of fonts" at the top of the "Add Fonts" dialog. That is where Windows shows the font files it sees in the folder specified in the "Folders" box. Then you can select it by clicking on it, and click the "OK" button to install it.
 
Note that the "Add Fonts" dialog has a checkbox to "Copy fonts to Fonts folder". It should be checked by default. After the font is installed, you can delete the file from the folder you downloaded it to, because Windows will have a copy of it in the Windows/Fonts folder. Note also that "fonts" is plural here. If you download a bunch of fonts some day, you don't have to install them one by one. These directions are for Windows XP. Vista may be different, but I would expect the process to be similar.

A long time ago my mom got cat scratch fever, she was scratched on her upper thigh, then they determined it was melamonia and being so close to tons of lymph nodes she had all to have all the removed well over too from her knee to her pelvis area.   Im not sure if it was melamonia from onset but it started with the cat scrath.

As long as it heals quickly should be nothing to worry about.

It is horrible what kids to to other kids. Most of the time it is just to see an reaction. The ones that react the most are of course the ones they really drill and pick on. Our um is a big hysterical reactor so they zone in on him.

I wish there was a way I could teach all of the picked on one to let it roll off of their back and not to react.. also a way of beating the ever loving shit out of the ones who bully.

We had in one of the ums schools an anit bullying pact. All the kids had to sign it, and they formed "tribal councils" of thier peers. If a bully was caught being nasty they would have to go before the council, and deal with being talked to, and make approriations to the abused. I think a lot less bullying would occur if more schools followed this. They felt impowered against the bullies. He was not bullied there hardly at all. It happened once in the begining of the year, and the bully was taken down a few pegs. Being a bully there was not cool. They were the shunned ones.

See if there is a good councilor in her school. Make sure she has a free pass to go talk to the councilor when ever she feels the need to. We did this with our um this year. His issues are not as severe, but it has been gradually getting worse. Having that safe person and place to turn to in the middle of a situation like that is a god send. He has the ability to just get up and go. I think that would be helpfull for her too. I formed a bond with the councilor.. and we both work on him from our angles.

It is good she has outlets. Those are helpful. She needs one at school and a way to remove herself from the situation. Talk to the councilors and teachers about giving her an excape route to see the councilor, or trusted adult at school when ever she needs it.

I know how you feel honey. Soft and I were talking about how most folks "Morals" just arent too moral.

I love the little WWJD bracelets some folks wear. Most of them are utterly *clueless* over what would Jesus do.

First off.. he would not hang out in some swanky church. He would be in the hood ministering to the poor and downtrodden. He would be in the AIDS wards comforting and healing the sick. ( we have a lack of lepers.. and this is as close as we get in this day and age ) he would be with the prostutes helping them find a better way of feeding their families or just comforting them.

It is so funny and tragically sad who those who speak the highest of having moral fiber have little to none themselves.

When was the last time you saw them walking in the steps of their messiah?

This bugs the ever loving shit out of me.

There are some very good, upstanding folk out there. They have their own morals, and do not deem it nessasary to cram their morals down other peoples throats. Those are the type of people I try to surround my self with.

Since the fuzzy butt area is what's paining him, I think I'll just give him a pat on the head. 

The scratches appear to be fine today.  The lower lip is still bruised like I got smacked though.  LOL  He packs a wallop, my little Flying Kitteh.

Status: offline 		Gwyn and Holly-dolly, thanks.  I went, grabbed some paint, and just went wild with it on some paper out in the backyard in the wonderful sunshine.  I feel a bit better now that I vented.  I just wish some people werent so high and mighty and self-entitled and just left other people alone.  I dont bother anyone.  I dont go round harassing and being snarky (unless provoked), and I have generally been in a good mood, so  to the person that put me in a grump mood.
