The ranch that I ride at has a whole slew of half feral/half domestic pigs and pigglets. They follow you around like puppies.

The real feral ones are out in the trails.. but they mate with the ranch piggies all the time too.

In Sanibel and SW Fl. there are tons of gators.

We had to be sure to look around the lake behind our house before walking the dog. he would have made a nice little treat for a gator.

You will be in Orlando.. the most dangerous thing there is all the damn tourisit driving like morons because they noticed a palm tree. LOL

That was the first time I have ever seen a wild boar, much less 3 baby ones...
we didn't see MAMA boar but I'll betcha she wasn't far off.
We drove through the cemetary in Bushnell and saw a couple of large (large by Florida standards) deer around the bend near a picnic table area...  and me without my trusty handy dandy camera  

Besides the tourists in Orlando (or Kissimmee) driving like morons... how about the tourists crossing the multi laned highways without watching for traffic much less crossing at the light ...    Can ya tell that it's tourist season again? 


The lil ones are just adorable.. makes me wanna take em home.. and fatten them up.
 
and yes it is Snow Bird season. Thank heavens I do not live in Naples any more!

That is rich, better then you and bitchy snowbirdville.

We would get these wankers call into the office and scream but I live in Naples! *chuckles*

and I would tell them right back, "So do I, in Mandalay in fact, your point being?"

~ I hate it when I am finding it hard to sleep because I am 1. Uncomfortable in my own skin and body at this point.
2. I am nervous as hades about my job interveiw
3. My sleep sched. is all screwed up and my girl is sick.

if you mix 1/4 juice to 3/4ths water or soda it makes the "normal" juice mix strength you get from the store.

Status: offline 		i hate it that there is a vet who is being given the run-around by the government instead of being given the help he needs for PTSD. I hate it that there are benefits available to him that the vets admin did not bother to tell him about. I hate this!!!!!!!

Well my daughter never dishes gay people as she is bisexual herself, and has stated that if not for the relationship with her Dom/Partner she would despense with me altogether. So the gandum showing disrespect for those that may or may not be gay, 8 is kinda early tho not always. It was the prompting from the gang members to lead to him sullying the gay set.

Its totally insane I grew up in Texas mostly DFW area while back in my day there were the rockers/rednecks rivalries it was pretty tame. even tho it was when the whole bussing thing had come into affect, it wasnt necessary as black people were already intigrated in our school, and I cant remember any time where it was black/versus white.  Hell my neighbors hated me because my best friend was black.  But us as teens in high school just accepted it for what it was.

The grandboy um has problems with without thinking doing what another no matter who wants him to do, it just killed me he was being played as a pawn.  I personally think he has mental problems somewhere in the area ashbergers as he has always showed signs. But my daughter refuses to get him tested because she wont accept he could have problems.

If you know De Soto sure you know where Terrel is, is a small time.

I truly hope that they put the 2 in private school next season, as with boy um its essential he get social interaction.

*sigh* I miss living with them and having all the time in the world to spend time with them.

Gril um..... well she is all Dommish, she had him tied around her finger and is 2 years younger. Tho its another example who he will do anything she says even if he knows he will get in trouble, he will take the fall

Status: offline 		Considering that I homeschooled for years due to problems with the local school district, I know some cyber schools work well. And for people who think that homeschooled children have no social interaction, well, that's usually wrong. Homeschooled children usually have more interactions and activities. I know some families that had to literally schedule in school work time because they had too much going on in the activity front!!

(Why, yes, I am a homeschool advocate and believe it can help some children and families tremendously...)

What worries me is that my daughter is inherently lazy and at the beck and call of her Partner. He comes first the ums come second, I cant see her enrolling him in extracurricular activities.

To all those that have also lost or their furbabies arent doing so well, I send hugs and healing energy to them

To all those that are freezing  are more than welcome to make use of my raging furnace to warm toeses, hands, or any other body part. if your close enough to nyc can even try to work out coming and proving my worth as a human furnance.

With everything thats been going on, I need a road twip.

Thanks. The one I told goodbye today was really special.  Too bad he couldn't wrap his head around the idea that what he wants doesn't always come in the box he expects. 
 
I don't think I'm willing to go through this again.

Nothing wrong with some things coming first, Sage but the laziness factor is an issue. It's not simply a matter of slapping some books down and saying "do this". There's many different ways of homeschooling and philosophies about it. If she wouldn't get him out and about, whether through additional activities, church, community centre or homeschooling groups that meet up for activities, then he could be a bit isolated. Some children need that (my youngest who is on the Autistic spectrum did) and others need the interactions. So we had a combo.

Even when  lived there for 3 years, it was a point of contention about extra activites including interacting with other kids.  Because of my last ex, her and her brothers dealt with alot of isolation and the social skills was less then they should have been. If her Partner doesnt wanna do it, it doesnt happen.  He after 3 years has accepted the kids as part of the problem, as last time I talked to the their were calling him my dad. I do hope there was a breakthough in regards to that as it used to be they are not my kids and there acting like a dad isnt gonna happen, I will feed, cloth and make sure of necessary things but thats about it.

There is alot more to it but will not add to it as I prefer not to air to much dirty laundry on a formal site
