I love it that my Reese's cup was in 22 wrappers... yes, 22. One little Reese's cup, 22 little brown "cup-holders". WTF??? I think I was ripped off!

Hi hi!

Thought I'd share this lil bit of love love with you all...

I got all the last pieces of paperwork necessary for my visa. Sent it all off today.

Now, it is just a waiting game. Meanwhile, I bought an abaya (there's a piece about it on my blog - lemme know if you want the link. Shameless self promotion, I know).

Oh gosh... My aunt celebrated with me by making cookies! Yummmmm!

I love that they are celebrating with me. It feels good to be so deeply loved.

It means that I"ve done my part. Now it's up to the government to make the final approval (they've already given me preliminary approval.). I had to provide proof that I am physically fit (and proof that the doctor could say I was physically fit.). I had to prove I have college degrees (and prove that via 4 different documents, notarized and certified by 3 different agencies). I had to provide documentation that I"m not a criminal (that was only one paper thank goodness). And about 12 other things.

The government has already said, "Yes, we like you." Now we are waiting for, "come on over, baby."

oooo... dark swarthy men.... with that head gear. *I am such a sucker for regalia. I should have been a gay man.

I love it when I still have rope marks on my arms and chest 5 hours after He took them off.

I love that He took today off just because I had it off, too; so we could spend the whole day together just playing, laughing and loving.

I love how we face everything life throws at us as one and that nothing will ever be stronger than our bond.

I love that I have a place at His feet and a home in His heart.

And I love that I can come here and be real and gush about Sir (as I'm prone to do..) and be accepted by loving friends.
