unbelievable....now find myself saying stuff like..."where have the years gone"..."they grow up so fast"....we do end up saying the same stuff our elders did...lol.

    yes, both my kids are legal adults now and it is strange for me.  sometimes it makes me so excited because this opens up a new chapter for me in my life as well, other times it makes me feel sad because i think they won't need me as much    but that is what a good parent does, get's their children ready to be self sufficient and successful out in the big old, scary world.  i've spent the last 20 years being their caregiver, most of it by myself..it will be interesting to see how i switch gears into whatever the next mode is (i still haven't figured that part out yet)

    Status: offline     		I love it when Thing 2's soccer team comes together and kicks some major 3rd grade booty.  They had a winning season, 4-2, and will be in the tournament next weekend!

    Status: offline     		I have to agree with you 200%, christine.  Thing 2 was voted most improved player on her team.  This was her first season, and out of 6 regular season games, she only let 1 goal get past her.  She totally rocks!  (BTW, they are all so adorable... and fiesty...  like most of their mommas!)  LOL...
