I love it when I'm talking to an adorably sexy friend who is a total flirt, and is making me laugh.  This friend has no clue what I'm "into" and just said that I need a spanking.

lol, i'd be one of the goobers driving you nutso, gwyn...

yes, we do tend to walk on the same side as we drive. except me. sometimes i just annoy the hell out of people by walking on the "wrong" side of the stairs, or the sidewalk, or the mall.

and when i'm in the states, i walk on the wrong side too! can't win, either way [:D]

and when i get into a car in the states, i automatically go to the "drivers" side (which is your passenger side. and then i come back here and having gotten used to going to the "passenger side", keeping going to the wrong side to drive!

When I was in Sri Lanka, I was so confused with the driving and all.  At one point, when I first got there, I had to just cover my eyes when I was riding in the car.  I was certain that we were all going to die from driving on the "other side" of the road.  [:D]

That is awesome.... I am glad you told me.. that explains why that British prat always walks on the wrong side of the hall queering up the whole flow of traffic.

In my building if you dont speed walk.. you need to move the hell to the outside lane in the hall ways. It is a huge 3,000 person facility.. and all them peeps are speed walking all over the seeming miles of endless corridors.

Yay, Gwyn!  Good for you!

I love it when I stay late at the office and manage to get a head start on Monday's work, and my desk looks fabulous.

I love it when I lay on the floor and make Thing 1 crack my back, and it crunches and pops so loud that he gets totally squicked.  *Ewww, Mom!*  Kinda makes up for him scaring the shit out of me with the door earlier.  [:D]

I love it when Thing 1's teacher and dean tell him that he's done so well the first month of school that he should consider going into a higher level math class.

I love it when Thing 2 is sleeping soundly in my bed, all warm and smells like soap and shampoo.  *mommy-warm-fuzzies* 

I love it when my dad and my friend (both Army guys) are laughing at McCain's comment of having to define "tactic vs. strategy" to Obama, and I get to hear them laughing in stereo, one in person and one on the phone.  Something about two generations of military men I admire laughing it up just made me feel very happy.

I love it that I'm getting a passport and just crossing one more thing off my list of things I want to do in my life. If I had stayed in Ok I never woul have had the courage. I love that I planned the trip and now I am scrupulously saving the money for it and have even considered a second job. I love that I found a job in LA that I am going to apply for because it sounds like so much fun.

i LOVE that the enitre apartment is clean (okay...okay...i still have to put my clothes away that are on my bed, but still!!)

i love that in a couple of weeks i have a meeting with a man about doing some part time private practice work.

i love that i get to see the neice and nephews today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That reminds me of something the hair stylist said to me when I got my hair cut earlier this week. She was using a soft brush to wipe off the pieces of hair from my face and she accidently knocked me on the forehead with it. She jokingly said "let me beat you L8bloomer". Of course, she didn't say L8bloomer...*L*...she used my real name. But you get the idea. If she only knew.
