I love it that my friends are doing well...

I also love it when I get to sleep in all the way to 8:30 this morning, get up and take a bath to find my um making me home fries in the kitchen. *smiles* there are days when I wanna ring his neck... and then he pulls something so cool like that.

i know exactly what you are talking about.  sometimes they test us so much, and other times, they make us know that we are worth all the heartache, the worry and the love.  it is very smileworthy after the stress is done.

I love it when he is sweet too.. he has been shruging his ass up on his shoulders the last few weeks so it was a good start to the morning.

He has now moved the bed out of his bedroom because every last stich of his clothes and things had magicaly *ahem* gotten underneath there some how. His closet could be hiding Hoffa.. and we would never know.. so more stuff is going to get piled out into the living room I am sure.

But at least it is getting cleaned.

Oh yes...  the Holy Grail may very well be hiding in the Things' room, out here in west BFE.  Who knew? 

I love it when we are supposed to go out this afternoon since the rain finally stopped (we were going to go hang out with Potty at her event today, but it was raining, so we didn't go).  However, I'm kind of at a loss as to what to do because my check doesn't come with a "slush fund" for neat stuff.  My incoming funds = my bills per month, or just a little short, so there's never extra money for gas, movie tickets, dinner out... it's all about treading water.  *sigh*  And with extra bills this month, like car insurance and all, I'm really strapped.  No one seems to understand that "I'm broke" means "I'm broke"...  I don't have credit cards, so it's cash and carry for this redhead.  If it's not in the budget, it's not going to happen.

and with no car it takes serious planning to go anywhere to be sure we catch the last bus home. Even if it is a free event.

I totally feel your pain there.  And it's not just the Things...  some of my grown friends don't seem to understand that I can't get up and do whatever just because it was "payday."  Hello...? Payday just means that the bills will get sent out, hopefully before they are late, and if I'm lucky, I'll have grocery money wedged in there someplace and won't have to go to the local food bank.
