The first time we were intimate, He was kind enough to keep the lights off. I had not been nekkie in front of anyone for over a year and was a nervous wreck. Thank goodness He took charge or I'd still be locked in that bathroom. lol... The second day, when He turned the lights off, I reached over and gently switched them back on, smiled, and let my robe slide off. That was probably one of the most empowering moments I've ever had in my life.

oh hell no tulip, something that i can wear on the back of a harley! she's been told she has to wait til the surgery i'm booking for next year, THEN she can get married. (since she won't take money to have the wedding, and says they'll have to save up, shouldn't be a problem!) one of my motto's after divorce, was the best revenge is a life well lived. so a bodacious bod, on the back of a burly harley escort, something very unmotherinlawlike is my plan! will have to work around the helmet hair thing, helmets are required. oh, and learn to walk in heels. the things i do for my kids [8D]

i love that i think i'm finally getting brave enough to get a tattoo. i just want a small little snowflake or flower or sun or something somewhere. maybe i should start a thread asking for advice. i don't know a thing about them or how you find a good place and all that good stuff but i do want one.

Christine.. design your own.. even if you feel your artistic talents arent up to it, at least rough sketch it out, then go to different tat artists and ask them to help you refine it until it speaks to you. don't be afraid to ask to talk to their customers, and see work theyve done. Remember that tats DO get affected by age, so avoid anything with heavy lines, or that is so small that in 10 yrs it turns into a blot. Where to put it? What are your considerations? (likely) least painful place (yeah, right, knowing you...lol)? ease of hiding with clothing (with or without easy viewing access)?

You're fairskinned, so ask the artist how well white would show up.. you might be better off with an ultra pale blue. as far as WHERE... for me the least painful tats were the ones on my upper arms, and the one at the base of my neck. I've talked to people who have said those were the worst for them shrug GENERALLY speaking, the more meat where ya have it done, the less painful. Another thing to consider in placement is ease of aftercare (unless you've got someone who can clean it and apply ointment to it.. or shrink wrap, which is a technique that I understand is working really well.. shoot me a cmail and I'll tell you how that works..)

Hey Christine, Well if you don't want the general public to see it, put on your skimpiest outfit and decide where under THOSE clothes. And if you get it on a shoulder or your chest, check the area with your bra ON. You may want to go with a simple line, and not lots of color - it can fade. I have a simple sketch of a design I made, and people tell me it is elegant. It means a lot to me. Make sure the design is something that calls to your heart. Take some time to design it if you can ... look at other's tats or pictures you see. Figure out what you like about them - the simplicity, the color, the placement, the curves, the straight lines, the shape, etc. Just take your time. It should represent something important to you if at all possible. Those make the best ones, in my opinion. You might want to ask your ums to draw a pic of something (the family, your life, happiness, whatever). That might give you some freedom. Kids are much freer with that kind of thing than adults are. rofl...a rolling pin....then my destiny of owning my own bakery might actually come true lol. great suggestions on the kids drawing things...but you and GT have mentioned having it be something that calls to my heart...that's a good idea. the base of my neck would be nice for a tattoo, but then i wouldn't be able to see it. the inside of a wrist, just above the knee, front or back. you know the arch of my foot would be nice too but ouch. hugs for the suggestions
