I love that Christine is using the picture I adore!

I love that Kali and I have such great conversations. (ps - I wrote you back)

I love that I was able to talk to: Greedy, Kali, Everhope, and Winsome on the phone this weekend, and loved them all.

I love that Chloe-kitty is curled up on the chair next to mine, happy as can be.

I love that the Things came home, saw we were having Sloppy Joes and fries, and ate happily, as if it were the best thing on the planet. *go figure*

I love it when I lose 35 pounds! I went to buy new clothes, and found I'd dropped 2 sizes. That was a week ago, and the new clothes are already baggy on me.

Hey Christine:

I just go my 1st tat on Aug. 11, 2008. I loved it so much that I went back again for more! Mine are meaningful to me. The 1st one hurt alot more than I thought it would but I hung in there & tried that deep breathing you use during childbirth...lol. It was the grandums initials on my left thigh.

When I went back, I had my daughter's initial added to the list and I also have a couple of tats on my shoulders now. Both memorials, one to a favorite uncle--RIP D w/a black rose & another to a baby--Sweet Dreams N w/some baby feet.
I had my daughter's initals put on last & it was the same artist who did my 1st tat. He said that he remembered how much I squirmed around and that he'd hold me down for this tat. Christine, he pinned my legs down, got on top/did the tat. I was IN HEAVEN!!!! I almost gave him my virginity right then & there.....

Find something that's meaninful to you for your 1st tat. It'll make it easier for you, I believe.

OMG, I love my tattoos and they are meaningful for me. They're small cat paw prints around both wrists like bracelets. You can see them in some of the pictures of our wedding, in fact.

Christine, keep in mind that when you get a tattoo, as a woman, we gain and lose weight regularly. So think carefully about where you have it done. I have a friend that had a daisy done on her lower abdomen when she was 18 and some years, much weight gain and 3 babies later, that thing looked like one dead, wilted, faded daisy. We laughed our heads off every time we saw it. But I kept it in mind and thought long and hard before getting mine. (In fact, I waited almost 20 years before getting mine!)
