I was looking at Armour earlier..I like to be an informed patient ( my doctors hate it). My problem is that I still have half a functioning thyroid...go figure..the stupid radioactive iodine only killed half the bloody critter..so, it is not producing enough to do without a supplement but the supplement either puts me over or under..right now I am alternating 100 mg and 112 mg doses to stay level(ish). Yep I do have a lot of symptoms, but I am tackling this one balance at a time. poenkitten

Poen, Armour is one of the 2 that i take.....They (whoever the th ey are) say that it works more effectively because it's a 'natural' thyroid replacement. Where as things like levothyroxine are synthetic. Every doctor i've encountered here has wanted to take me off of it (because it's an 'older' medication) and i refuse to allow them... i think i'd prefer to have a half working thyroid than none at all...checks amount of weight gained after surger YEP, i would prefer that. Thank you... I love you girlies!!!!! [sm=hearts.gif] I think He has a yummy voice, too... and I've heard it for the past 5 plus years, and I STILL get giggly when I talk to Him. [:D] I thought it was cute when He got off the phone with one of the lovelies on here, and said, "Are all of your friends so giggly and easily flustered?" I looked rather smug at Him over my shoulder and said, "Yes, they're just like me." [:)] He laughed. He's a good man, too, which makes me very happy to call Him not only my DaddyBoo or Master, but my dearest friend. warm fuzzies
